We are looking for volunteers to help clean a couple hours a day.

We are also looking to have someone volunteer to clean the

kitchen once a week.

Ladies & Gentlemen of the Moose- Summer is rapidly heading towards Fall, but while summer is in season, the Lodge is filled outdoors with members enjoying Horseshoes, Bags, Car Shows, Flower planting, Clean-up or a gathering of members beautiful motorcycles enjoying the pa-vilion. It’s testimony of what a fraternity is all about. It also helps our Lodge finan-cially. On behalf of the Kettle Moraine Klassic Kar Klub, I wish to thank all the Moose members and WOTM ladies for their hard work in planning and participating on the day of the car show. The food, beverages, and service was given excellent revies by 4k members and the many attendees I had the privilege to visit with throughout the day. Weather and a few areas to improve on were out of the norm. From storms to hot and humid, it did not lessen everyone’s efforts to make the show a success. I am still proud to have brought the car show to our Lodge because our members and our excellent facility. Please continue to support our upcoming events and remember to bring a guest for potential membership. It’s important to the survival of our Lodge. See you at the Lodge. Fraternally Yours, Bernie Kiefer, Governor

Hello Ladies, July proved to be another busy month for the kids and I! I heard the international convention in St. Louis was a success! I was sad I was unable to go but very glad Bonnie Ullrich was able to attend and bring home some new information to share with me and pass it on to all of you! July was a quiet month for events at the lodge, please remember throughout the summer we are always open Tuesday and Friday nights! The last couple Friday’s in July had a great turn out and we hope it con-tinues in August! Don’t forget the Drive Thru Brat Fry are every Saturday as well! We have a challenge going on between Bernie our Governor and Myself from now until the State Convention in September! If the women have more new members then the men I get to throw a Pie in Bernie’s face at the convention! If the men have more that means Bernie gets to throw one at me! I do not wish that to happen though so come on Girls, I need some help! Bring in friends and show them what being a moose is all about!! You should be proud to be a Moose, I know I am! Although July was slow, August is busy! Lots of new events on the calendar! First ever Fish Boil on August 6th, make your reservations now! Car Show and Rummage on the 13th, we have started to accept donations for the rummage! State Horseshoe tournament 20th and 21st! We are still looking for volunteers for the weekend! With all these wonderful events coming up we cannot make them a success without you. If you want to volunteer, please contact Curt or Barb Carter, or you can always call the lodge. Lastly, I hope all of you are enjoying the beautiful weather and making memories! I know the kids and I are staying busy with all the wonderful events this time of year has to offer! Can’t wait to see you at the lodge soon! Love Always, Tammy Schmidt

Chuck Costa, Rick Kiefer, Tom Costa, and

Matt Boardman won Peora Award at the State Golf

Outing. This is their second year in a row!

I got the pleasure to enjoy Sat July 23rd at Noah’s

Ark with the Mooseheart kids. There were about

140 kids enjoying the facility, even though it rained.
