About us Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Charitable Fund is the dedicated charity for our

Trust which supports around 800,000 patient visits year.

From oncology and cardiology to critical care and paediatrics, pathology and nursing,

the ways you can make a difference to the patient experience are endless.

The difference donations make Donations support patients of all ages including babies, children and adults.

How can I support the charity?

l Donate online via our Just Giving or

l Send a cheque made payable to Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust

Fundraising your way From running, baking, tombolas and quizzes to

car boot sales, raffles and auctions to walking and

swimming there are lots of ways you can fundraise

for your local hospital. Whether you are a company,

group or individual our fundraising manager is here

to support you.

You may like to consider:

l Leaving a gift in your will

l Making a regular and affordable monthly gift

l Taking part in an organised event such as a run to raise sponsorship

l Hosting a community event such as a bake sale or quiz

l Requesting charity donations ‘in lieu’ of birthday or wedding gifts

l Incorporating the charity into a health and

well-being challenge e.g. sponsored slim

Be our next charity star

Isabelle Campbell ran the Tonbridge Half

Marathon after her husband, Jason, spent 50

days in hospital with multiple organ failure,

pneumonia and sepsis. Isabelle raised a fantastic

£3,860 for the Intensive Care Unit at Tunbridge

Wells Hospital.

Whatever type of fundraising you do, you’ll be

tangible difference to our hospitals.

Phototherapy systems purchased via donations provide high-intensity

phototherapy for effective treatment of jaundice and

hyperbilirubinemia in babies.

Charity funding has supported Kent Cancer

Centre Health and Well-Being Days which help patients in

managing the transition from active treatment (chemotherapy,

radiotherapy, surgery) to ‘normal’ life.

Thanks to a legacy our Cardiac Catheterization Lab

underwent a major refurbishment with a new x-ray and hemodynamic

system benefiting cardiac patients.
