Day 1: January 2, 2019 | Depart USADepart USA via overnight flight on scheduled airline to Amman, Jordan.

Day 2: January 3, 2019 | Arrive Amman Jordan Arrive in Jordan and meet your professional tour escort, then transfer by private motor coach to Amman. Depending on flight times, take a city tour of Amman and stop for lunch on your own before checking into our hotel. Visit the Jordan River where Jesus was baptized by His cousin, John the Baptist

(pending arrival times). Celebrate Mass this evening before a welcome dinner at the hotel. Overnight in Amman.

Day 3: January 4, 2019 | Amman | Petra Today visit the most famous site in Jordan, the archaeological ruins of Petra. Carved into sandstone in the second century, this fortress is a UNESCO world

heritage site that houses treasures and stories that enchant each traveler that passes by. Celebrate Mass. Dinner and overnight in Petra.

Day 4: January 5, 2019 | Petra | Sea of Galilee This morning, depart Petra and visit St. George’s Church to see the famous Madaba “Holy Land Mosaic Map” and Mt. Nebo where Moses died. Celebrate Mass. Enjoy lunch before continuing on to the Sheikh Hussein Bridge to cross to Israel. After crossing we drive to the Sea of Galilee to check-in to the hotel

for dinner and overnight in Tiberias.

Day 5: January 6, 2019 | Banias | Tabgha | Mount of Beatitudes This morning depart for Banias (Caesarea Philippi) where Jesus anointed Peter as the first Pope. Travel back down to Galilee to visit Kursi,

where the demons were cast from the Gadarene. Continue on to Tabgha where Jesus multiplied the loaves and fishes. Celebrate Mass at the Church of the Primacy of Peter. After Mass drive to the Mount of Beatitudes where Jesus preached the Sermon on the Mount. End the day with a boat ride on the

Sea of Galilee and back to our hotel for dinner at the hotel and overnight in Tiberias.

Day 6: January 7, 2019 | Mount Tabor | Cana | Nazareth This morning, drive to Mount Tabor where Jesus met Moses and Elijah at the Transfiguration. Then travel to the town of Cana in Galilee where married

couples will have the chance to renew their wedding vows at the site of the first miracle of Jesus. Continue to Nazareth and celebrate Mass at the Basilica of the Annunciation to visit the grotto where the Incarnation began. Welcome Dinner at Magdalena Restaurant and overnight in Tiberias.

Day 7: January 8, 2019 | Capernaum | Dead Sea | Jerusalem Today we check out of our hotel and drive to visit Capernaum. Celebrate Mass above the house of St. Peter. See the ancient synagogue where Jesus taught

about eating his Body and Blood. Then, travel south, through the Jordan Valley, where Jesus healed the ten lepers and taught parables about the relationship between rich and poor. Along the way see many biblical sites; look across to Moses’ Mount Nebo and see Jericho, where the blind man was healed and the conversion of Zacchaeus towards the poor; and take time to float in the salty waters of the Dead Sea, the lowest point on earth at 13,000 ft. below sea level.

Arrive in Jerusalem to check in at the hotel for the next five nights. Dinner at the hotel and overnight in Jerusalem.

Day 8: January 9, 2019 | Bethlehem | Ein Kerem This morning we embark on a drive to Bethlehem to visit Shepherds Field and celebrate Mass in the cave where the Shepherds were keeping watch and the

angels addressed them. We visit the Church of the Nativity to see the cave where Jesus was born. After lunch on you own, travel to Ein Kerem to visit the Church of the Visitation. Dinner at the hotel and overnight in Jerusalem.

Day 9: January 10, 2019 | Jerusalem | Mt. Of Olives | Garden of Gethsemane Today, drive to the Mount of Olives and visit the Chapel of the Pater Noster where Jesus taught his disciples the “Our Father”. Visit the Garden of

Gethsemane and pray at the Grotto of the Arrest. Celebrate Mass at the Church of all Nations at the Garden of Gethsemane. After lunch visit Mount Zion, the Church of St. Peter in Gallicantu (“where the cock crowed”) and walk the Roman steps. Visit the Upper Room (Cenacle) where the first ordination of

priests took place in addition to Pentecost. Visit Dormition Abbey where Mary “fell asleep.” Drive back to our hotel for dinner and overnight in Jerusalem.

Day 10: January 11, 2019 | Jerusalem Early this morning, walk the Via Dolorosa (Way of Sorrow) and pray the Stations of the Cross ending at the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. Celebrate an early Mass in the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. See the tomb of Christ and Mt. Calvary. Return to the hotel for breakfast before we begin with a walking tour of the Old City on the way to the Western Wall. Travel back in time to “see” the Temple as it was seen by Mary and Jesus. Enter St. Stephen’s Gate and visit at the Church of St. Anne

where Mary was born. See the Pools of Bethesda where Jesus healed a lame man. Overnight and special farewell dinner this evening in Jerusalem.

Day 11: January 12, 2019 | Free Day | Optional Day Trip to Masada and Qumran This morning, celebrate Mass at the Church of St. Stephen the Martyr. Then, enjoy free time in Jerusalem to explore on your own and to revisit some of your favorite

places in the area. OPTIONAL DAY TRIP: Visit Qumran, the site where the Dead Sea Scrolls were found, Masada (a Herodian stronghold, situated on top of an isolated rock plateau, overlooking the Dead Sea). (Additional cost: $100-$120, with minimum of 10 participants).

Day 12: January 13, 2019 | Return to USA This morning, check out and depart for your return flights home.
