Mother’s Day Cards On Mother’s Day, May 10 remember your mother in a Novena of Masses. If you receive envelope packs, please drop off or mail your Mother’s Day envelope to the office to be received by Thursday, May 7. (If dropping off, there is a mailbox on the right
side of the wall outside the office door. It is locked and secure. You may slip your envelope in the slot.)
Votive Candles Votive Candles “In Memory of” or for a “Special Intention” or “In Thanksgiving” are available at both our St. Casimir and Holy Name locations. At St. Casimir, we have the Lamp of Remembrance and the Lamp of Devotion. At Holy Name, we have the Tabernacle Votive and the Adoration Chapel Votive. The intention goes from Sunday to Saturday. A stipend of $10 is requested and cards are available to notify an individual, or the family of the deceased, if applicable.
Sponsor Qualifications: To be a sponsor for Baptism or Confirmation, you must: 1. Not be the parent of the child/candidate 2. Must be at least 16 years of age 3. A Roman Catholic who has received the
Sacraments of Baptism, Eucharist, and Confirmation. 4. A registered member of a parish. 5. A practicing Catholic, who participates at Mass,
receives Reconciliation regularly and believes and lives according to the teachings of the Church.
6. (If married) Must be married according to the laws of the Catholic Church and living in a valid marriage. Persons who are divorced but not remarried outside the Church and not living with someone outside of marriage, are eligible.
****Requests for Sponsor Certificates will be honored after the individual making the request has been a registered member of the parish for a period of three (3) months or more. Thank you!
