•Born on August 29, 1632 in Wrington, England •Studied at WESTMINSTER SCHOOL from 1646 untilL 1652 ,studied at OXFORD UNIVERSITY in 1652•Mentored by ROBERT BOYLE, leader of OXFORD scientific group•Theories and ideas countere those of the king,mainly denouncing that the royal bloodline wae not divine•Locke went into exile in Holland in 1682 •In 1688, returned to his home country •published all of his prior works in 1690 •Established principles of empiricism via his publications in 1690 •Became british commissioner•Published multiple papers on the topic of financial difficulties•Died in essex on October 28, 1704
