Register / Login

This is the Landing Page of the employer module. Those without an account will be able to express

the interest. Only employers with credits will be able to log in and post job/mine resume.

Should you forget your password, please use the “Forgot your password” function to have a

temporary password sent to you. You can refer to the guide. Should you need help on the login

email, kindly contact us at [email protected] with your company name and nature of

enquiry.

Should it be the first time you log in, you will be prompted to setup your challenge questions. This

one-time prompt is a safety measure intended to prevent unauthorized users from logging into your

account.

Dashboard

Once you have logged in, this is the Dashboard that you will see. The Dashboard provides a snapshot

of your account’s activity over the past 7 days and quick links to actions you can take, including job

posting or resume mining. If your email is linked to multiple accounts, you can toggle between the

different accounts using the account dropdown list.

Jobs

From the Dashboard, you can click on the tab Jobs & Applications to view the list of active jobs. You

can use the shortcut tool to choose the job product that you want to post. It will reflect the

remaining credits available.

Job Listing

On My Job page, you will be able to see all the jobs that you have posted. By default, it will show you

the active jobs. You can click on the tabs to navigate to view expired jobs.

Within the table, the jobs are sorted by alphabetical order of the job title. There are a number of

actions you can take on this page:

Delete – Disable an active job

Auto-Renew – Schedule for the job to be reposted after it expires

You can see the total number of applications received since the last time the job was posted /

reposted (clickable to view applications for the job).

Job Posting

When you click on Post a Job, it will first prompt you to choose from the different job types that you

have purchased.

For all existing jobs, you have the option to save it as a template. If you often post a job of similar

nature, saving them as template saves you time as the key fields will be pre-filled. You can save a

template after you have finish posting a job.

You will be shown the respective job posting form after you have selected the product on Post a Job

page. Mandatory fields are marked an * for your convenience.

For employers with the job description saved in .doc or .txt file, you can now upload your file and we

will extract the text with the supported formatting.

Employers have two options to receive applications by – Either via email or redirection of jobseekers

to their own website. For either option, the employers can still log in to the module to manage the

applicants and applications. Please note that for basic jobs, applications can be receive via email

mode only.

After profiling the job, they will prompt you on when you like for the job to be posted. Should you

opt for the job to be posted later, the job will be saved under “Pending” on My Job page and the

credit will not be deducted till the day of activation. If there is insufficient credit, the job will not be

posted.

After you confirmed the job posting, you will be taken to View Job page:

Job Posting tab – Preview of job, Status of Job + Tools to act on the job

View Applications tab – View all the applications for the job since its latest posting

Under Job Posting tab, there are links to useful tools:

Copy to Active – This tool replicates the job and allows you to edit the job prior to new

posting

Template from this Job – This tool allows you to save the job as a template to facilitate

subsequent posting.

Auto-Renew (1 month) – This tool helps you to schedule for the job to be reposted after it

expires.

Applications (by position)

On My Job page, you will have the options to view the applications by job (under “Apps Received”

column) or all the applications received (via the left column). Please note that the “Apps Received”

column shows you the total number of applications since the job was last posted/reposted.

When viewing applications by position, by default you see the “Active Applications”. These are the

candidates who pass your job’s filtering criteria (they will be marked with Passed Filter) and also

non-member applications. The applications are sorted by period of 90 days to allow you to better

access the most recent applications first.

For the table, key profiles are shown for a quick preview. There are tools within the table that you

can use to rate your applicants for easier facilitation. The ratings are sortable. The ratings are visible

only to other users who have access to this account, not the jobseekers.

Stage – You can use this tool to reflect which stage along the interview process the applicant

has reached.

Rating – You can score the jobseekers from a scale of 1 to 10, 10 being the highest

Flags - You can use flags to reflect your perspective of the candidate (Green = Good

Candidate. Yellow = Needs Further Review, Red = Unacceptable)

When you click on an applicant’s name, you will be able to see the full profile + resume of the

applicant. The content of the resume attachment is extracted for easy review. Candidates who failed

the filtering criteria (if any) will be marked with Failed Filter.

The ratings are visible only to other users who have access to this account, not the jobseekers.

We have provided tools to help you manage the applicants:

Email Candidate - You can now use the module to send out an email to your applicants.

Should they respond, it will be sent to your email directly (we do not facilitate subsequent

correspondence). Please note that all emails must be recruitment-related.

Download – You can use this feature to download the candidate’s resume attachment.

Forward – You can use this feature to forward the application to others via email.

Delete – You can shift any Active Application (that pass filtering criteria) to Deleted

Applications pool.

To elaborate further on the tool “Email Candidate”:

This feature allows you to send email to candidate/s via the module. There is a cap of 10 recipients

each round. You can include a link to direct them to a job. You can use the tags function to make it

easier for you to customise when sending to multiple candidates.

Should they respond, it will be sent to your email directly (we do not facilitate or store subsequent

correspondence).

Please note that all emails must be recruitment-related. Companies found misusing this feature will

be barred from the site, with no refund on outstanding products.

Applications (all)

On My Applications page, you will be able to view all the applications you have received (stored up

to one year from date of application). By default, it will show you the applications your jobs have

received since the last login. You can sort the applications via the different column header or search

fields provided.

You can utilize the checkbox and dropdown list to implement bulk action on the applications as well.

Email Candidate - You can now use the module to send out an email to your applicants.

Should they respond, it will be sent to your email directly (we do not facilitate subsequent

correspondence). Please note that all emails must be recruitment-related.

Forward Application – You can use this feature to forward the application to others via

email.

Delete – You can shift any Active Application (that pass filtering criteria) to Deleted

Applications pool.

Resumes

From the Dashboard, you can click on the tab Resume Search to view the resume search form. You

can use the shortcut tool to set your filtering criteria (keyword, location and Last activity) to view the

results. Should you need more filtering fields, please access the Resume Search Form.

Resume Search Form

On Resume Search page, you will be able to set your filtering criteria and be able to request for the

resumes of relevant candidates.

Should you have purchased more than 1 database, you will be able to choose from the list:

- SGDE / SGEA / SGFP: JobsCentral Database

- SGUNI: BrightMinds University Database

- SGPLY: BrightMinds Polytechnic Database

- SGITE: BrightMinds ITE Database

The most basic way for search is using Keywords. Other than searching by profile, the new resume

parsing function allows us to search the keywords within the attachment as well. This in turn return

better results for you.

For exact phrases, please use “ “ e.g. “Human Resource”

For either of two words, please use “or” e.g. Accounting or Finance

For both words, please use “and” e.g. Banking and Finance

You can search either based on “Last Activity” or “Last Modified”.

Last Activity – Jobseeker has logged in and had an action on site (ranging from job search,

profile update, job search or application, course search etc)

Last Modified – Jobseeker has logged in and updated his profile or resume

If you need more search fields, you can click on [+] Show Additional Search Options on the Resume

Search page. This will show you the expanded list of the available fields (attached is a screenshot of

partial list).

On the right side bar under “Utilities” on Resume Search page, this shows 3 of the most recent

actions for each section. There is a “View All” function to route you to the respective pages to view

all the actions taken.

Search History – This tool shows you the 3 most recent resume searches made (reflecting the

criteria selected). You can opt to view the entire Search History (store most recent 100 entries

for last 7 days).

Resume Tags – You can tag resumes even prior to mining. This tagging will be shown to

yourself and other users of this account, not the candidate. Clicking on the tabs will link you

to the table with all the tagged resumes. You can opt to view the entire list of Resume Tags

that you have created.

Hidden Resumes – You can hide resumes so that they do not surface within searches even if

they match the criteria set. This is not apparent to the jobseekers. You can opt to view the

entire list of Hidden Resumes. You have the option to unhide the resumes at any one time.

Resume Search Results

This is the results table, returning matching resumes that fulfills your filtering criteria. For your

convenience, the resumes are sorted by relevancy based on your search criteria.

There is a “Search Options” on the left hand side to help you tweak your search criteria without

returning to Resume Search page. You can have the option to Save Search so that you can be

notified whenever there is a new resume relevant to your search comes up.

You can click on the candidate’s name to view the resume and review the relevancy of the

candidate:

- If their resume is open, it will be released to you immediately after you request for it

- If the resume requires permission, the jobseeker will receive a notification to confirm whether

to release the resume to you. The request will expire in 7 days and the jobseeker will return

to the pool 1 month later. Their resume will be greyed out so you know these are pending

jobseekers’ actions.

Each resume is presented in block style, with the key fields showcase to allow you a quick preview.

Each resume is marked with the relevant icon/s to inform you either the actions taken on the

resume, or alternatively the type of resume which will impact on the actions you can take on them.

Resume Preview

Prior to mining, you can preview the selected resumes. Though their contact details and

attachments are hidden, you will still be able to assess the relevancy of the candidate based on their

education background, work history, skill set and the desired position (if filled in).

Should you like to confirm the candidate, you can click on “Unlock Resume”. A prompt will be

shown, reflecting the outstanding credits you have and the permission setting of the candidate.

If the resume is open, one credit will be deducted and the resume will be released to you

immediately. It will also be saved to the Purchased Resumes pool.

If the resume requires approval, the credits will not be deducted until they opted to release it to you

(within 7 days from date of request). You can keep track of all your requests via Pending Resume

pool. Once accepted, you will receive an email notification and can access the resume via Purchased

Resume pool.

Manage Resumes

From the top tab of “Manage Resumes”, you will be able to access the three groups of resumes that

you have already acted on, namely

Purchased Resumes – Resumes that you have requested for and released to you (be it open

resume or resumes that have been approved)

Pending Resumes – Resumes that you have recently requested, pending the jobseekers’

release. All requests will be valid for 7 days before they become mineable 1 month later.

Rejected Resumes – Resumes that you have requested for, and have been rejected by

jobseekers. These will remain within the rejected pool for 1 month before it is released to the

mineable pool again.

From the Purchased Resumes page, you will be able to export selected resumes into excel.

Account Tools

From the Dashboard, you can click on the tab Account Tools to select the account you are looking at.

For each account, you will be able to view purchases, add or edit user and the corresponding user

setting, and tweak any other settings on the account level.

My Account

From My Account page, you will be able to see the full list of accounts your email is linked to. Only

the users of each account will be able to view the jobs, applications and/or resumes under that

account.

You have the option to deactivate the account (only if the account doesn’t have any live jobs or

pending RDB requests on the account).

Account Information

This page provides you a quick look at who the purchase was made under, and the full list of active

products. The status of the manager indicates that this person has the ability to add users and

change access on other users.

The active products are split into two tables, namely Job Products and Other products. Within each

table, the items are sorted according to ascending date of expiration.

Account Users

This page allows you to view all the tagged users to this account and the respective permission level.

You will be able to tweak the setting of other users if you are tagged a “Manager”.

You can use “Add User” function to introduce more members to access the account. If they already

have an account with JobsCentral, do use “Registered User” for faster turnaround. They will receive

an email notification regarding this addition.

User Groups

Should you like to segment the users of the account into different groups, you can use the User

Group function. The jobs, applications and resumes made by the group will be visible to the group

members only.

You can access this page to change your profile and login information, including email and password.
