For example:
He’s a baker.
ANWe use an with nouns that begin with a vowel sound. (a, e, i, o, u).
For example:
He’s an electrician.
UNEMPLOYED AND RETIRED
We don’t use a or an with unemployed and retired because that are adjectives.
For example: Don’t say: I’m an unemployed. She’s a retired. We say: I’m unemployed.
She’s retired.
