Job Fest is a one day event that is held at the Saint John Trade and Convention Centre. This is the 17th year for this event which is made possible through the partnership of the Department of Post-secondary Education, Training and Labour, J.D. Irving Limited and School Districts 6, 8 and 10.

Selected grade 11 students will participate in fun and informative career workshops and activities designed to improve job search skills.

To attend Job Fest, students will apply to “mock job postings” and be selected to go to the event based on the quality of their resumes.

At Job Fest, students will participate in a mock job interview and 3 professional employability skills workshops.

After you have started making a list of your interests, you have to research what types of careers and job opportunities match some of your interests.

Job Fest provides you with an opportunity to research and apply to mock job opportunities.

You can apply to one of mock job postings that will be displayed in your school Guidance Department or select an actual job posting and use that as part of your application to Job Fest.
