Remember to sign and date your application

Interview helps employer decide if they should hire you.

Interviewing Make an appointment for the interview ASAP

Have an appropriate outfit ready for the interview

Try to learn about the company before you go in for the interview

Interviewing cont. Arrive 15-20 minutes early

Be ready for questions that you will be asked during the interview

Do not chew gum while in interview

Sit up straight/ don’t slouch

Keep eye contact but don’t stare

weaknesses and a strength. End with a positive

Have you done this kind of work before? Relate it to school or something

in your life.

Give good reasons: responsible, on time, flexible, fast learner, know how to work in a team.

Do you work well with others? Give examples from school like

working in groups or being apart of a team or club

Why did you leave your last job? Don’t say because my boss…. Make it

positive like you wanted a new challenge.
