JOB ANNOUNCEMENT: Community Stability Program Manager
Position Summary The Community Stability Program Manager position offers an exciting opportunity to serve the community
with needed and impactful programs that help clients facing socio economic challenges to transition their
lives. This position, located within the Community and Parish Connections (CPC) department, supports equity
building, financial stability programs with an evidence based focus on serving the community. Working
closely with other department program managers and staff across the agency, this position will implement and
integrate into other programs our asset building activities and opportunities to support a mission of serving
the common good through meeting basic needs while building community health and long term physical,
emotional and financial wellness in children, adults, and their families.
This Community Stability Program Manager will work with the Assistant Director and Senior Director of
Operations to supervise Catholic Charities’ Financial Services staff programs through multiple grants and
community partnership onsite at our Family Resource Center, through the community Disaster Recovery
Collaborations, and throughout the community. This position, one of three program manager positions who
work as a team, is a core component of the department, ensuring that staff have the supports they need to
complete the work and that leadership has the information they need to provide it. Catholic Charities’
Program Managers provide administration for agency programs, including budget management, grant
application and compliance, employee hiring, supervision and retention, coordinating training and facilitating
integration with other programs across the agency.
Supervision of staff and activities could include travel throughout six Northern California counties, and,
primarily based in Sonoma County with day trips to Napa, Mendocino, and Lake Counties.
Supervises 3-5 employees, 20+ volunteers, Exempt status, $45,760 to $52,000 annually.
Essential Functions
Supervise the Family Financial Stability client services.

coaching, and resource assistance.

o Act as a public representative to the community for Catholic Charities; communicate and
collaborate with other community partners to maximize joint impact and participate in
county wide collective impact efforts.
o Work with other team members to develop an infrastructure to deliver integrated services
through the agency and collaborative community resource workshops to congregations and
community groups.
o Support special projects such as the department’s volunteer management and
infrastructure development, the Operations Program Quality Committee, and
implementing blended learning into our education programs.
Work with supporting staff to develop financial services program, obtain funding plan, support
grant applications and provide compliance to grant deliverables.
Supervise and support program staff for team cohesion, professional development, and to ensure
program objectives and responsibilities are met.
Follow Council on Accreditation (COA) best practice standards process for policies and procedures
related to program activities and other department requirements, and identify opportunities to
improve processes in order to deliver the highest quality experience possible for clients, and follow
through with these improvements as assigned.
Support evaluation and best practice methods through supporting data collection and developing
and maintaining logic models and a theory of change.
Support agency wide integration work through referral processes, database sharing, and internal
outreach communications.
Other Responsibilities
Attend and participate in staff meetings and in-service training as requested.
Attend community meetings as a representative of Catholic Charities.
Perform other related duties as assigned.

Education, Experience & Skills Required
BA/S degree, required. MA/S degree, preferred.
Three (3) to Five (5) years related work experience required.
Spanish/English speaking and writing, preferred.

Two (2) to Five (5) years’ experience working with vulnerable populations as they learn and
implement effective financial programs that help them rebuild their lives and make long term
change.
One (1) to Three (3) years’ experience supervising staff and volunteers from a strengths based
perspective.
Experience and high level of proficiency with Microsoft Office and Outlook, the ability to utilize
shared online calendars, project management programs and database
Cooperative, friendly, and helpful attitude with clients and coworkers. Ability to work closely with
others to ensure positive, constructive environment within the program or department, and
throughout the agency.
Ability to thrive in a flexible, fast-paced, and growth-oriented environment, while maintaining a
sense of humor and a positive, solution-oriented approach.
Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
Passion and enthusiasm for the mission of CCDSR and its clients.
Must have valid California driver’s license and insurance and possess reliable transportation.
Physical Requirements
Requires ability to sit up to 6-8 hours per day with intermittent occasional walking, standing,
bending, squatting, grasping and pulling/pushing.
Occasionally may be required to lift items up to 10 pounds to a height up to 7 feet.
Occasionally may be required to carry items up to 40 pounds for distances up to one block.
