THE SCHOOL CHORAL ANDORCHESTRAL- SOCIETY.

This Society caters for past and presentmembers of the school, and consists oftwo sections, (a) choral; (b) orchestral.

The choral section rehearses twice aweek during the Spring and Autumn termson Mondays and Fridays. Rehearsals forboys take place during the lunch hour-rehearsals of the full society at 7-30 p.m.,at Blackburne House.

The orchestra rehearses on Tuesdays-7-9 p.m., in Hall., ...-_Further particularsfrom Mr. Young.

INSTRUMENTAL CLASSES.Violin and other instrumental classes

are held during the lunch hour, or afterschool, 15/- per term, Private lessons 25/-per term. Further particulars from Mr.Young.

THE CHILDREN'S COT & FLORENCEINSTITUTE FUND.

A Cot in the' Children'. Hospital, Myrtle Street,bears the name 0/ the School .and is supported bydonations from the Fund.

HOLIDA Y CAMP AT TROUT AL.The Camp at Troutal is held for three weeks

during the summer holidays. The site is in thevalley of the Duddon, one of the most beautifulof the Lakeland Valleys, about 3 miles above thevillage of Seathwaite. The nearest town isBrcughton-in-Furness, about 10 miles distant.

There is a good range of excellent walks,including Scafell and the Coniston Fells.
