From the Packed Flowers - Gray (Packed Flowers - Purple) (A), cut:• (4) 4 ⅞” x width of fabric (WOF) strips. Sub-cut the strips into (30) 4 ⅞” squares.• (3) 3 ⅞” x WOF strips. Sub-cut the strips into (30) 3 ⅞” squares.

From the Tonal Flowers (Tonal Dots - Lime) (B), cut:• (3) 3 ⅞” x WOF strips. Sub-cut the strips into (30) 3 ⅞” squares.

From the Tonal Dots - Gray (Tonal Dots - Purple) (C), cut:• (2) 4 ¼” x WOF strips. Sub-cut the strips into (15) 4 ¼” squares. Cut the squares across both diagonals to make (60) triangles. From the Tonal Dots - Blue (Tonal Dots - Pink) (D), cut:• (2) 4 ¼” x WOF strips. Sub-cut the strips into (15) 4 ¼” squares. From the Background - Ivory (Background - White) (H), cut:• See instructions to cut (60) Template Twos.• (9) 3 ⅞” x WOF strips. Sub-cut the strips into (90) 3 ⅞” squares. Cut (60) of the squares across (1) diagonal to make (120) 3 ⅞” triangles.• (4) 4 ⅞” x WOF strips. Sub-cut the strips into (30) 4 ⅞” squares.• (4) 4 ¼” x WOF strips. Sub-cut the strips into (30) 4 ¼” squares. Cut the squares across both diagonals to make (120) 4 ¼” triangles.• (4) 2 ½” x WOF strips. Sub-cut the strips into (60) 2 ½” squares.

From the Flowers & Vines - Gray (Flower & Vines - Black) (Backing), cut:• (2) 90” x WOF strips for the backing. Sew the strips together and trim to make the 78” x 90” back.

Page 2Sewing InstructionsBlock One1. Place (1) 3 ⅞” Fabric E square on top of (1) 3 ⅞” Fabric H square, right sides together. Draw a line across the diagonal of the top square (Fig. 1). Sew ¼” away from each side of the drawn diagonal line (Fig. 1). Cut the two squares apart on the drawn diagonal line (Fig. 2) to make (2) EH units (Fig. 3). Trim the EH units to measure 3 ½” square. Repeat to make (60) EH units total.

2. Repeat Step 1 using (30) 3 ⅞” Fabric A squares and (30) 3 ⅞” Fabric B squares to make (60) 3 ½” AB units (Fig. 4).

3. Sew (4) AB units together to make (1) pinwheel square (Fig. 5). Repeat to make (15).

Block One

4. Sew together (1) Fabric C triangle, (1) Fabric H 4 ¼” triangle and (1) Fabric H 3 ⅞” triangle to make (1) CH unit (Fig. 6). Repeat to make (60) CH units total.

5. Sew together (1) Fabric D triangle, (1) Fabric H 4 ¼” triangle and (1) Fabric H 3 ⅞” triangle to make (1) DH unit (Fig. 7). Repeat to make (60) DH units total.

6. Sew (1) CH unit and (1) DH unit together to make (1) side unit (Fig. 8). Repeat to make (60) side units total.

7. Follow Figure 9 and sew (4) EH units, (4) side units and (1) pinwheel square together to make (1) Block One. Repeat to make (15) Block Ones total.

Block Two8. Repeat Step 1 using (30) 4 ⅞” Fabric A square and (30) 4 ⅞” Fabric H squares to make (60) 4 ½” AH units (Fig. 10).

9. Place (1) 2 ½” Fabric H square on the bottom right corner of (1) AH unit, right sides together (Fig. 11). Sew across the diagonal of the smaller square from the upper right corner to the lower left corner (Fig. 11). Flip open the triangle formed and press (Fig. 12). Trim away the excess fabric from behind the triangle ¼” away from the sewn seam to make one AH corner unit. Repeat to make (60) AH corner units total.

Quilt Top Assembly (Refer to the Quilt Layout while assembling.)15. Sew (3) Block Ones and (2) Block Twos together, alternating them, to make Row One. Repeat to make Rows Three and Five.

16. Sew (3) Block Twos and (2) Block Ones together, alternating them, to make Row Two. Repeat to make Rows Four and Six.

17. Sew the six rows together, in numerical order, to make the quilt top.

18. Sew (1) 5 ½” x 72 ½” Fabric G strip to each side of the quilt top. Sew (1) 5 ½” x 70 ½” Fabric G strip to the top and to the bottom of the quilt top.

19. Layer and quilt as desired.

20. Sew the (8) 2 ½” x WOF Fabric D strips together, end to end with 45-degree seams, to make the binding. Fold this long strip in half lengthwise with wrong sides together and press.

21. Bind as desired.

10. Place (1) Fabric D - Template One triangle on top of (1) Fabric H-Template Two triangle, right sides together, aligning the left sides (Fig. 13). Sew the two triangles together along the left side. Press the smaller triangle open.

11. Place (1) Fabric D - Template Three triangle on top of the Fabric H -Template Two triangle, right sides together, aligning the right sides (Fig. 14). Sew the two triangles together along the right side. Press the smaller triangle open to make one HD side unit (Fig. 15). Trim to measure 4 ½” square.

12. Repeat Steps 10-11 to make (30) HD side units total.

13. Repeat Steps 10-11 using (30) Fabric E Template Ones, (30) Fabric H Template Twos and (30) Fabric E Template Threes to make (30) 4 ½” HE side units (Fig. 16).

14. Follow Figure 17 and sew (4) AH corner units, (2) HD side units, (2) HE side units and (1) 4 ½” Fabric F square together to make (1) Block Two. Repeat to make (15) Block Twos total.
