Copenhagen, October 1999 To: Whom it may concern Letter of recommendation IC Group has had the pleasure to work with Mike Kelly during his 18-month assignment as Managing Director of Wonderware Corporation EMEA (Europe, Middle East & Africa). With this position Mike also assumed the responsibility for Wonderware’s relationship with their independent distributors; among several others my company IC Group, which covers Sweden, Norway, and Denmark. To be honest I was very skeptical to have yet another non-European to hold this position. Mike proved me all wrong. With Mike’s arrival, Wonderware EMEA transformed immediately into a professional and responsive organization. What have impressed me most, is Mikes enormous bandwidth and his ability to zero in on the critical issues. When Mike came to Europe, we had some very serious issues with our largest OEM customer in Scandinavia, which could have cost Wonderware and ICG a lot of money and prestige. Mike personally took over the case and in a tremendous effort he headed daily progress meetings with the customer and Wonderware Development until all issues were solved. Another important key to Mikes success has been his been his ability to handle the vast cultural differences in the European countries both internally in the distributor organizations and externally towards customers and partners. Furthermore Mike has the ability to make relationships and friendships with everybody from “plantfloor” to management, which gives him a tremendous information base on which to base his decisions.

Letter of recommendation

IC Group has had the pleasure to work with Mike Kelly during his 18-month assignment as Managing Director of

Wonderware Corporation EMEA (Europe, Middle East & Africa). With this position Mike also assumed the

responsibility for Wonderware’s relationship with their independent distributors; among several others my company IC
