• The new JENFORM series meets all requirements of today’s garment fi nishing automation. Its modular frame construc-tion allows individual machine confi gura-tions, thus covering all customer needs.• Two basic models each in four perform-ance categories as well as many options are available:• JENFORM OMEGA Plus GAS individual gas heating per drying zone• JENFORM OMEGA Plus STEAM individual steam heating per drying zone

Basic construction• As the name of the new JENFORM series suggests, the conveying system is based on the Greek sign. This simple and at the same time ingenious solution considerably increases the processing time during fi nishing.• The drying zone and the air circulation system have been noise insulated. Spe-cial attention has also been given to ther-mal insulation to minimize heat loss.

JENFORM OMEGA PLUS

Steam-heated version• One high-performance heating register (8) is integrated in each drying zone.

Gas-heated version• A separately adjustable gas burner (9) is provided for each drying zone. The burner is located in the center of the drying cham-ber and injects the heat into the circulated air through a specially developed distribu-tion tube. The distribution tube points at a high-temperature baffl e plate. Process air fl ows around this baffl e plate, so it functions like a radiator and assures ideal heat distri-bution.

Automatic lint scraper• Each tunnel fi nisher has an integrated au-tomatic lint scraper. Together with the lint, dropped garments are transported to the side access. Automatic detection and alarm of this event may be included on request.

and gently raised.

Outlet zone

The S-shaped convey-ing system increases the processing time greatly compared to other systems on the market, whereby the garment is slowly and care-fully brought to ambient

temperature.

Four-level steamingThe standard JENFORM OMEGA Plus is equipped with a 4-level steaming system.• The S-shaped conveying system creates a wedge-shaped gap between the garments. Steam is carefully directed to the two peak points, resulting in the full exposure of the garments to be steamed.• At the end of the inlet zone the garments are processed with steam from above as well as from the side. The steaming process extends into the drying zone.• The air circulation fans create a steam and hot air stream. All steaming parameters can of course be individually adjusted for each fi nishing program.

Drying zone• Climate control:In the JENFORM OMEGA Plus, the drying zone has been transformed into a genuine climate zone! The exchange of air is indispensable for superior performance. In other words, saturated air (1) must be evacu-ated and replaced by unsaturated air (2). Accordingly, the JENFORM OMEGA Plus features not only individual tempera-ture control but also separately adjustable in-feed and exhaust air parameters per drying zone (3). Apart from capacity optimization, this also allows balanced control of energy input – and thus energy costs.• Air circulation principle:The orientation of the air circulation fan (4) defl ects the air stream at a right angle. This reduces fl ow losses and of course optimizes the volumetric fl ow as well. Process air reach-es the garments through the standard-confi g-uration JET nozzles (5), and the high-velocity air stream guarantees an ideal stretching and drying effect.

Trockenzone• Most work garments are fi tted with pock-ets. Pocket areas dry less quickly because of the extra fabric layer. To solve this prob-lem, the JENFORM OMEGA Plus is equipped with so-called pocket blowers (6). Unsaturated process air is routed down-ward through double sidewalls and directed through nozzles that point to the pocket ar-eas of the garments.• To achieve perfect fi nishing quality for long garments, the lower section (7) of the processing chamber was narrowed. This automatically increases the air speed to enhance the stretching effect over the entire length of the garment.
