The Opportunity Jennifer Smith, CEO of Innovative Office Solutions (Innovative), met Marnie Ochs-Raleigh, CEO of Evolve Systems (Evolve), through several women-owned business affiliations including the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO). During initial conversations with Innovative and Evolve, Innovative said they were pleased with their merchant processing provider. Innovative was told frequently by their provider that their rates were reviewed to ensure they were receiving the lowest possible and most competitive pricing structure available. Innovative was interested in looking into different options to ensure the information they were told was accurate. With how fast their company was growing they needed to ensure any kind of transfer would occur seamlessly with flawless execution and zero downtime. If they were to transfer merchant processing services, they also needed to be assured they would receive immediate customer service experience and be able to have faith in their new environment. The Solution Once Evolve received 3 months’ worth of merchant processing statements from Innovative, they created a detailed pricing analysis proving a substantial reduction in interchange processing fees if Innovative was to transfer to a true level 3 pricing structure. After evaluating the proposal, Innovative moved forward with transferring their merchant processing service to Evolve. Throughout the transition, Innovative was able to continue working with zero downtime. They received a new, fully-integrated merchant processing package without any issues as an end result. Evolve also ensured Innovative they would have the ability to generate custom reports and troubleshoot with ease. Evolve then set up 30, 60, and 90-day reviews of the saving structure for Innovative and was able to integrate their merchant processing systems into Innovative’s pre-existing Microsoft Dynamics. Additionally, the enhanced security and assistance the Evolve team provided made it extremely easy for Innovative to become PCI Compliant. The Result In addition to the financial savings Innovative realized, they have also benefited from not having high ticket charges held for 24-48 hours. Rather, the quick customer service representatives are able to release funds immediately and have even been able to look into raising the high-ticket ceiling creating greater ease of use for Innovative customers. This gives Innovative faster access to large sums of money, increasing their cash flow.
