Career Objective
I am an internationally minded, adaptable, project driven individual with six years experience working in an international environment in Cairo, Egypt. While I have acquired a wealth of skills and knowledge during my time as a teacher, I have been looking to transition careers for some time and work in a field more in line with my degree and interests. My multidisciplinary experience, however, should not be overlooked. I have acquired exceptional organizational, planning, time management, research and communication skills while working in academics. Likewise, my experience in the Middle East and North Africa has given me the ingenuity to come up with creative solutions to new problems, the ability to take initiative when processes are not functioning properly and the confidence to effectively communicate cross-culturally. I would very much like to work in a position that would allow me to apply these administrative and interpersonal skills on a daily basis.Education

International Work History

I was also tasked with guiding Egyptian and Refugee students in their education and personal growth as I developed and delivered lesson plans, communicated cross-culturally in meetings, lectures and one-on-one, created, delivered and oversaw PowerPoint presentations and utilized data to draft reports. Additionally, I often prepared, edited formatted and distributed materials to the students, staff and parents.Maadi Community School (Cairo, Egypt) October 2010-July 2014During the January 25th 2011 Revolution, I not only stayed on at the school as others were fleeing the country, but, due to the shortage of staff, I took on an extra duties proving that I work well under pressure and do not easily quit. I successfully conveyed objectives and delivered lessons in an international setting, where students from at least 25 nationalities were represented. My greatest achievement at MCC was designing and coordinating a week long political education seminar for the students that centered around the events of the January 25th 2011 Revolution.
