-Dec 1st application 2015- 31st last date submission.-Candidates can apply to appear in JEE Main 2016 from December 1, 2015. One month time will be given to aspirants for filling and submitting the online form by registering, uploading scanned images (of photograph, signature and left thumb impression in JPEG formats) and fee payment i.e. the last date to apply for JEE Main 2016 is December 31, 2016. They can pay application fee via debit/credit cards as well as through e-challan. Candidates need to register first for applying in JEE Main 2016. There are 7 (seven) steps to apply online. Candidates shall first register by creating a password. The password must be between 8 and 13 characters, and must contain a capital letter, a small case letter, a special character & a number.
- Admit Card, also known as hall ticket, of JEE Main 2016 will be tentatively available in second week of March. Candidates appearing for the exam need to download it online by entering Application Number, Date of Birth, etc. Before downloading admission ticket of JEE Main, they shall provide their roll number and board details of class 12thor equivalent qualifying examination.
- Admin card download- 2nd week of March.
-JEE Main 2016 Pencil-Paper Based Exam (Paper 1 & 2)- on April 3rd 2016. and online on April 9-10th 2016.
-Display of Answer Key and OMR sheets- 3rd week of April 2016
-Acceptance of challenge of Answer Keys- 4th week of April 2016
-Declaration of All India Ranks- 1st week of july 2016.
-Availability of JEE Main 2016 Rank Card- After declaration of ranks.
