Jealousing Characters

This booklet is to be used with the Jealousing film and activity pack

Marissa is married to Scotty. Marissa loves making her little boy Junior laugh, and she always gets him the best toys. Marissa plays in the female football team as a centre half-forward, and she is number 18. She is unhappy with Scotty because he has been chatting online with other girls. Sometimes she feels very jealous and very angry.

Scotty is a great footballer, and his team is West Coast Eagles. Scotty is really great at fixing cars and likes cooking chops and baking cakes. His grandmother makes the best damper in their community. Scotty is married to Marissa and they have a little boy called Junior. Junior loves dancing to Wipeout at disco! Scotty has been writing messages to Fiona, and he knows his wife Marissa gets jealous, but he doesn't want to stop.

Fionathe girl

Fiona likes going hunting for Maku, playing softball and singing. Fiona works at child care. She likes Scotty and he likes her too. Scotty is married to Marissa and Fiona is worried it might cause trouble but she can't help herself, because she really likes Scotty.

Ingrid the mum

This is Ingrid, Fiona's mum. Ingrid works at the office and is the softball coach for the A-Team. Sometimes at sports carivals Ingrid umpires too. This year, her team came first at Yuemdemu sports, in Finke and at Kintore sports! The girls have been training hard. Ingrid has four kids. She worries about facebook and texting because sometimes there are troubles. She wants families to sort out troubles by talking to each other, rather than fighting.

Shirly Marissa’s best

friend

This is Shirly. Shirly is Marissa's best friend. They went to boarding school together in Adelaide. Shirly likes cruising around and listening to music. She also likes painting with her grandmother and taking photos of her friends and family. She worries about her friend Marissa, she gets angry when people are jealousing on facebook. Shirly does her best to give her friends good advice.

StephanieFiona’s friend

This is Stephanie. Stephanie is good friends with Fiona. Stephanie is visiting from another community. Stephanie loves doing hair and beauty stuff and is always dying her little sisters' and cousins' hair. She also cuts boys hair with clippers and shaves designs into their hair. She doesn't like fighting and doesn't want to see her friends fight.
