Choosing Game | NFL FANTASY FOOTBALL DRAFT | Event Design + CollateralInvite and event decor for The NFL’s Fantasy Draft 2010, held at the Edison Ballroom in New York’s Times Square. NFL.com had just released a new and improved Fantasy game interface and the outside event decor was designed to double as an advertising billboard to attract attention from the public. Work done for The National Football League.

Inaugural Fundraising Gala | CARNIVAL CENTER FOR THE PERFORMING ARTS | InvitationInvite for the Carnival Center for the Performing Arts’ first annual fundraising gala. 12.5"″x 5.5" bronze envelope with inserts. Multi-level emboss, foil stamping, die cut, CD-hub. A modular design accommodates personalization. The multi-level circular emboss detail mirrors the shape of the acoustic dome in the ceiling of the performance hall. Work done for Seraph Miami.

Good News | GOODLIFER | Digital MagazineGoodlifer is an online magazine that believes in the power of good news and offers positive vision of a future that is both sustainable and achievable. I designed the site (which is now in its second iteration) and continue to manage and oversee all the creative. The project offers me an opportunity to publish my writing and create art to complement each story and ensure it is visually compelling. Currently, I am working on a soon-to-be-launched iPad Magazine.

An American Roadtrip | PACT | Photo CampaignArt direction and production of cross-country photo campaign for organic underwear company PACT, documenting a classic American roadtrip. The concept also inspired a new travel section in PACT’s Good News Magazine, where PACT wearers can send in photos of their own roadtrips and be featured in the magazine. Work done in collaboration with MOJO Projects.

Platform: Green | AIGA MIAMI | MagazineFor the second issue of AIGA Miami’s Platform I conceptualized the theme — “green,” designed the issue, commissioned illustrations and artwork, edited all and wrote some of the content, and managed the entire production process for this 17"″x 11" format, 24-page magazine. I learned a lot and slept very little, but it was all worth it in the end. Work done for AIGA Miami.

Pride of Texas | The Super Bowl XLV Friday Night Party | InvitationInvite for the Commissioner’s official party at Super Bowl XLV. The focus of the party was the greatest moments in Texas football and the stars that made them happen — The Pride of Texas. The stars on the cover are debossed and foiled, giving the invites an elegant, exclusive look appropriate for this VIP gathering of football royalty. Work done for The National Football League.

Under the Lights | The Super Bowl XLIII Friday Night Party | InvitationInvite for the Commissioner’s official party at Super Bowl XLIII. The theme was “Under the Lights” and we emphasized that by printing matte opaque ink on shiny silver board to make the lights appear as if they we’re sparkling. Work done for The National Football League.

Art Loves Design | MIAMI DESIGN DISTRICT + ART BASEL MIAMI BEACH | Logo + Event CollateralIn Miami, one week a year it’s all about painting the town pink, Art Basel pink! Logo redesign, invites and event collateral for the Art Loves Design Art Basel street party in the Miami Design District, an outdoor gathering of 40,000-some art and design lovers. Work done for Bridge House.

Get Inside The Game | NFL MEDIA UPFRONT | Event Design + CollateralEvent decor and collateral for NFL Network’s 2008 Media Upfront. The theme of the event was “Get Inside the Game.” After cocktail hour, we opened the locker room doors and took guests inside a fairly exact replica of current Super Bowl Champions the New York Giants’ locker room. Work done for The National Football League.

Arrive to Escape | W FORT LAUDERDALE | Teaser AdsTeaser ad campaign promoting the new W Hotel & Residences in Fort Lauderdale. The concept is based on Escapism and Freedom, appealing to potential buyers’ escapist thoughts using images of sails, sheets, and curtains blowing in the wind, symbolizing the freedom of ownership. Fresh, mostly blue and white, imagery help convey a sense of freshness and light. Work done for Républica.

NFL All-Stars in Hawaii | The 2011 PRO BOWL | Event Branding + Visual Style GuideWhen the Pro Bowl returned to Hawaii in 2011, it was time for a fresh, new look. In addition to a new logo, we created a comprehensive style guide featuring design elements and guidelines that was used in-house as well as by all NFL vendors, licensees and partners. Work done for The National Football League.

INSPIRATION: HAWAIIAN ELEmENTS

The Pro Bowl brand extends from the core using inspiration from the energy and excitement of Hawaii’s natural elements. The bold lines of Pacific waves echo the energy of the trophy’s curves. Plant and floral elements are stylized, and become important supporting pieces in the Pro Bowl palette.

The stars and trophy shapes are used

as a framing device. usually at opposite

corners, for balance.

The color is primarily rich black and silver,

with an accent color.

The accent color can be the Pro Bowl

green gradient from the core palette.

The accent can also pick up a team

specific color.

Warm / cool contrast can be acheived through use of photography ie:

a warm sunset photo paired with a cool background.

Dark portion of background gradients should always be anchored against the dominant design element, ie: photo, trophy element, or stadium.

The following gradients should be used for backgrounds. No substitutions should ever be made. See design elements section for gradients.

NFL All-Stars in Hawaii | The 2011 PRO BOWL | Environmental Graphics + CollateralTo show that the Pro Bowl was in town, we created street pole banners displayed throughout Honolulu, graphics for all the official hotels, branded key cards, event credentials, and, last but not least, decor for the entire stadium where the game was played. Work done for The National Football League.

Sweets for Your Suite | MONA LISA SUITE HOTEL | Promotional CollateralSales piece created to promote the opening of the Mona Lisa Suite Hotel at industry trade shows. Takeaway gift components, in this case a piece of chocolate featuring Mona Lisa’s famous face, made the hotel stand out from the rest. Work done for Seraph Miami.

Da Vinci Says: Relax | MONA LISA SUITE HOTEL | Promotional CollateralSales piece created to promote the opening of the Mona Lisa Suite Hotel at industry trade shows. Takeaway gift components, in this case a bookmark featuring a very appropriate quote by Leonardo da Vinci, made the hotel stand out from the rest. Work done for Seraph Miami.

Join the New Jet Set | OASIS ON THE BAY 2 | Advertising + Sales CollateralBranding revamp and new pre-construction sales pieces for a condo tower on the Biscayne Bay in Miami Beach. The waterfront location and Aqua Club were the project’s main selling points, so we made the campaign all about water, using luminescent paper stock, water imagery, and quirky key floats as prominent design elements. Work done for Seraph Miami.

Making it Easy to Be Green | THE NFL GREEN TEAM | Visual Identity & SignageBranding and signage for National Football League’s Green Team, posted throughout the NFL offices to promote the company’s green efforts and encourage employees to be more environmentally conscious.
