Read “Japan 1915-1941”.
In your notebook, make a list of reasons for Japan’s growing hostility towards the United States. (In other words, what was the U.S. doing to provoke Japan to action?)”
Use bullet points.
Write two paragraphs (5-7 each) in your notebook.
Paragraph #1: Explain (informational) Japan’s foreign policy during the 1930’s and the military strategy behind it. Describe the aggressive action on the part of Japan in East Asia (China).
Paragraph #2: Justify (argumentative) Japan’s increasingpresence in China. Justify the events that led to U.S. entry into World War II from Japan’s point of view.
Use RACE. Do not use pronouns. Your paragraphs must be at least 5-7 sentences each.
