It happened on March 11th 2011, around 9:00 pm.There have been many
earthquakes in japan, but this one is the biggest and most recent earthquake
that happened there.

• The earthquake was located about 80 miles east of Sendai,
Japan and 231 miles northeast of Tokyo. It was magnitude 8.9

• After the earthquakes, tsunami, and nuclear crisis, Japan faced the freezing icy cold wind, hail storm, with -5c degrees.
• The environment can be affected by the earthquake, because if the earthquake hits, and trees will fall down to the ground and it can sometime cause forest fires.

• It happened in same date as the earthquake which is March 11th, 2011. The tremors were the reason of the violent uplift of the sea. The highest wave in this Tsunami is almost 7 meters high.

Earthquakes. When the earthquake happens, tsunamis can reach the ground in few minutes, and it could be really dangerous. You should get prepared for the Tsunamis, because it can cause lots of lives lost, and it can bring lots of damages.

HOW CAN I PROTECT MYSELF FROM TSUAMI??
• If you live in somewhere near the ocean, and feel a strong shake from an earthquake, you would only have few minutes left until Tsunami arrives. You shouldn’t wait for the official warning. You should protect yourselves from falling things, and quickly move to high grounds where it is further away from the ocean.
