During the past five years Daniel has been the Executive Director of Exploraciones Oceanicas S de RL de CV, managing the exploration work and permitting of the Don Diego offshore phosphate deposit in the Pacific coast of Mexico’s Baja California peninsula.

Served as a geologist with Anglo American Corporation and with AngloGold Ashanti in a number of roles, most recently as a regional exploration manager.
