Michael will lead a discussion of “Our Christian Calling: Support for Homeless Women” . There are over 600 homeless women on the Monterey Peninsula, facing tremendous threats to their safety and unique barriers to reaching help. Fr. Michael reminds us of Christ’s call to help the most vulner- able, and shows us how to respond to the Lord’s personal call to each of us, through his work with the Fund for Homeless Women. Michael Reid is an Episcopal priest, author, co-founder & organizer of the Fund for Homeless Women of the Community Foundation for Monterey County. Remember them in your prayers this weekend as we celebrate the WORLD DAY FOR CONSECRATED LIFE. Our next Serra Club meeting is Feb. 3 @ 6:00 pm in the San Carlos Cathedral Hall. ALL ARE WELCOME! ENVIRONMENT COMMITTEE There will be a meeting on January 28th at 7:00 pm in Serra Hall #1. The environment committee decorates the church and tends to the plants and flowers. Please join us!
