Theater on the Lake
The Theater group held its Annual General Mee2ng on November 9th -
there was a large turn-out including three welcome non-members who
showed interest in joining the group. The President recalled our last
show, “Going to America,” and congratulated the singers and dancers
(non-club members) who joined with us, and contributed vastly to its
success. Our next produc2on will be a comedy, scheduled for June
2018. Our first mee2ng of the New Year will be January 18 in the
Clubhouse (Cra@ Room) when further plans for this 2018 show will be
outlined.

Stampin’ Scrappers The Stampin’ Scrappers enjoyed our
Christmas party and gift exchange in early
December. Susan Stanley graciously
hosted our gathering in her beautifully
decorated home. Susan had several
Pinterest ideas she had made to share
with all of us. They were all so cute, and
some were yummy!
Plans for 2018 were discussed. Everyone
is welcome to join our group on Tuesday
morning in the craft room. We have lots of
fun ideas for cards to create.

The Del Webb Christmas program and concerts for the residents at The Harbor at Harmony Crossing and
The Glen kept The Delmen preFy busy the first part of December. It was a joy to share the songs of
Christmas with the community.
As The Delmen begin the New Year, they will be working on a program of patrio2c songs and Americana
music to sing in the spring. They are planning to share these at some of veterans homes in the state as
well as here in the Greensboro. The group invites all men who have an interest in singing to come and
join with the group. The Delmen rehearse on Mondays at 2:00 pm in the cra@ room.

Dear Homeowners,
We hope all of you had a wonderful Christmas and holiday season with family and
friends and that you will have a wonderful and beau2ful HAPPY NEW YEAR! Del
Webb at Lake Oconee HOA is looking forward to a great 2018 with many ac2vi2es
and planned events that will suit just about anyone. Take the 2me to read over all
the upcoming events and be sure and take advantage, and if you have any ques2ons or concerns, please
email Ruth at [email protected]
With the Christmas holidays coming to an end ,you will be looking to find a way to recycle or remove
your fresh Christmas trees should you have one. The Greene County Recycle Center located on the same
road as Home Depot is available to take your fresh trees. Their address is 1211 Meadow Crest Rd
Greensboro, GA. The trash company that services DWLO will not be picking up your trees so we ask that
any fresh trees not be placed on the street with your regular trash container as this service is not
provided by the trash company. Also, please do not place trees or regular household trash in common
area receptacles, such as at the clubhouse or in the boat dock area. These trash containers are not for
homeowners to place excess trash bags or household trash in. You can u2lize the Greene County Recycle
Center for any items that don’t fit in your own container.
Parking and driving reminders are necessary from 2me to 2me here in the community. Please be careful
when entering the community at the gate as there are visitors entering at the same loca2on as
homeowners. Even though they have a yield sign at the visitor’s entrance, we ask that you keep a
watchful eye on those who may or may not be familiar with the entrance gate. Go slow and be careful.
Secondly, as a reminder, please do not park vehicles on the street overnight. If you have no room in your
driveway for visitor’s vehicles, you will need to make arrangements for temporary parking at the
clubhouse lot or elsewhere, especially overnight. The streets are narrow, and we want to make sure
there are no accidents.
In closing if you need anything at all, please don’t hesitate to give me a call at the club at
706-999-1760 or email me at [email protected]
Thanks so much and I hope you all have a great New Year!!
Sincerely,
Rhonda Beasley, CAM
