May everyone have a happy,
healthy,
prosperous year!
May the year be great for everyone!
Hello North County Corve e Club members,
Hope everyone had wonderful holidays with family and friends.
We had a good me with grandchildren and children in our home.
It was great to have a full house at the holiday dinner.
Thank you to Wayne & Marilyn Osborne for organizing and Rob Roth for keeping the “spirits” alive.
We start 2016 with a run lead by Norma and Jack to the Bates Nut Farm, Trupiano’s, ending at the Miya‐
moto home on January 17th.
Plas c Fantas c is coming fast! Please help support Tim Murray with all of the things that have to be done
to ensure a great experience for our guests and members. Oh, and Tim, about that 99 cents, I think I’ve got
you covered.
I’m proud to be a member of North County Corve e Club and want to recognize the rest of the board of directors for suppor ng me and the club! Thanks, Mark, Ruth, Gary, Jack G., Norma, Laura, Sam, Rob, Jack M., and Renee.

FAST GLASS CORVETTE CLUB
CORVETTES ON THE MIDWAY
November 7, 2015
Midway Chevrolet, Phoenix, AZ
Submi ed by Kathleen Regenhardt
We set out mid‐day on Friday for Arizona; Mark and Ruth Harwell and Dave and I. It was a nice drive from
sunny San Diego to sunny Phoenix, and the weather was perfect. The Fast Glass Corve e Club has been
one of the top three clubs that par cipate in our Plas c Fantas c show. We were eager to show our appre‐
cia on for their patronage, and they were thrilled to have some of us at their small show.
The show was held at Midway Chevrolet, the club’s sponsor, and there were vendors and free food. We
were told the dealership sold four Corve es that day to par cipants of the show! We had a great me and
Mark and Ruth’s C6 won a trophy for ‘car of dis nc on’. Congratula ons! Have to admit, Dave was a li le
disappointed he did not win and, at mes, the compe on got a li le out of control. :)
Our host and hostess for the weekend were Vonn and Cornelia Jones. You may recognize the names be‐
cause the past two years they have organized and lead the Fast Glass caravan to our show and have driven
down to a end our club mee ng the month prior to Plas c Fantas c. They are a wonderful couple who
opened up their beau ful home to all four of us, fed us, and just made our me there even for enjoyable.
Thank you, Vonn and Cornelia!

2015 USO SANTA STORE
By all accounts everyone who par cipated in this year’s event had a great me helping Santa get presents
ready for service members and their children.
Thanks to Bob Belzman, Jack and Lynn Grindstaff, Dave and Kathleen Regenhardt, Sam and Donna Rindskopf
and George and Be e Marks. It appears the USO was very happy to have us help out.

2015 NCOCC CHRISTMAS PARTY
Officer’s Club, Miramar AFB
December 12, 2015
A great me was had by the huge turnout at this year’s holiday party! We definitely had a full house with
over 60 people a ending. It’s always nice to see everyone in their holiday finery.
Wayne and Marilyn Osborne did an outstanding job organizing, decora ng, and playing hosts to all of us.
The food selec on was wide and tasted great!
The gi exchange was lively as always with a lot of “stealing” going on.
We showed our apprecia on to Sandy and Lynn Mayer for all of their club par cipa on over the years as
they had planned to move to Arizona to be closer to their grandchild and his parents. (Since then, the sale
of their home here has fallen through so they’ve decided to remain members un l they finally make the
move.)
