January 2010 - 120 Backlink Packet
First I would like to thank you for subscribing to Paul’s Quality Backlinks; I assure you that you will really
enjoy this service and the quality of the backlinks I provide. Also, before you start link building, there’s
some important information you should know regarding backlinks.
You may have heard from people that do not have complete knowledge about Search Engine algorithms,
say that leaving your link on an “inner page” that has a low or 0 Page Rank inside of a high Page Rank
domain will do your link no good. This is completely false.
I have several websites ranking very high on the first page of Google (five of which, are number one) out
of hundreds of thousands of competing sites. The demo site (http://howtomakeadiapercakehq.com) that I
use for these links, is sitting on the first page of Google, on the 2nd
spot out of over 332,000 sites for the
keyword “how to make a diaper cake”, this site also carries a Page Rank of 4. I have done all this by using
this same method of linking in inner pages of high PR authority sites. These links are simply amazing, and
they will do wonders for your keywords & sites. Imagine if you only have to complete with 250,000 or less
competing sites, you will be able to dominate your competition!
Matt Cutts, the head of Google’s webspam team was asked about above statement, but he couldn’t give a
straight answer due to the question being too close to Google’s algorithm. You will find part of the
interview below.
“Stephan Spencer: OK. So, I guess, a follow on to that would be: a .edu and .gov link, and so forth,
has, typically, a more pristine link neighborhood, so it is not just about the PageRank, right? The link
neighborhood comes into play.
Matt Cutts: That is a little bit of a "secret sauce" question, so I am not going to go into how much we
do trust that sort of stuff.
Stephan Spencer: OK. I am going to slap my wrist now. Ouch, ouch!
Matt Cutts: [laughing]”
