Public high schools that serve English Language Learners who are Spanish speakers.

Students in grades 10, 11, or 12.
Students who have completed up to grade 9.

REQUIREMENTS:Completion of elementary and middle school program including 9th grade.
Middle school and grade 9 transcripts.
Birth certificate.Proof of address.

◦Ensuring that they are 15 years of age.◦Providing flexibility in scheduling required classes based on the students level of knowledge and skills.
◦Understanding that Credits earned through the on-line curriculum are equivalent to credits earned through traditional curriculum.

◦On-line courses do not require admission exams; may use an academic history to satisfy requirements any time during any given academic year.
◦High school offering on-line curriculum allows the student to complete requirements for secondary programs which can take between six months to a year, of an average of two hours daily, five days a week or six hours on Saturday.

Are designed to support:◦ Administrators◦ Teachers: teaching tools that allow them to develop academic skills and their application to a variety of situations, personal, social and academic.

Teachers: Know the contents of the student’s academic history (transcripts)
Know about the on-line program at their student’s high school

Parents:Know the contents of the student’s academic history (transcripts)

Students should know:their own academic history,about registration for each course,
how to request academic history,how to access pre-requisites on-line,
Develop a realistic plan of studies, with assistance from the school.

School:Trained staff;Needs Assessment of staff participating in program;
Facilitate on-line training for staff;
General knowledge of this program.

Diagnostic Assessments;Academic Assessment, by unit, and end of course;
Student Guide: Reading strategies and study skills for independent work.
