Breaking Borders 2008 The first partnership activity, after the preparatory visit to

Greece, was a meeting in Glasgow in January 2008. This was much anticipated and prepared for by students and teachers alike and was very successful. There was a huge amount of preparation which was entered into with great enthusiasm by pupils and staff. St Oswald’s students worked very hard to produce lots of beautiful art-work, written pieces and projects about Historic Buildings and culture, for the first phase of the project.

During that week in January, we organised many events to show off our city, our school, our culture and hospitality. Our students accompanied the visitors to various attractions including Edinburgh Castle, Kelvingrove Art Gallery, and Holyrood Secondary School.Melanie O’DonnellCo-ordinator
