Thank You

Thank you to whomever made the anonymous donation of a Target gift card. I used it to purchase supplies for the office this week. - Patty Billy and Barbara Murray would like to say, “Thank you for your love and support for the loss of my brother, Gene Murray. Your prayers, calls, cards and visits were a blessing for me. May God bless each of you.” The Gross and Hatfield family would like to say, “Our family cannot express enough our gratitude. You have helped us make this Christmas for the children very special! Thanks again.”

The cards are on the bulletin board in the Education Building.

Our Christian sympathy is extended to the Goss family in the death of Mathew Goss.

Prayer Point from the Sunday School Director

Dear Church:

Please pray that adult servants will respond to our call for children's ministry leaders and helpers, especially infant through age 4 in Children's Church. We also need dedicated adult escorts for ages 5 – 7 to assist leaders in getting children toward the Jr. Church Area

from the piano to the top/bottom of the Sanctuary stairs each Sunday.

"For as in one body we have many members, and the members do not all have the same function, so we, though many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another. Having gifts that differ according to the

grace given to us, let us use them..." - Romans 12:4-6a Terry Johnson Sunday School Director

CHURCH COVENANT

In response to the leadership of the Holy Spirit, I have confessed my sin and accepted Jesus Christ, Son of the one true God, as my Redeemer and Lord. As a member of the body of Christ, I covenant with this Church to faithfully endeavor to respond to Christ’s command that “ye love one another.” In that spirit I will pray without ceasing, remembering my fellow Christians, and those who are lost, sick, in distress, needy and bereaved. I will present myself as a willing instrument of the Lord to be used in ministry for those for whom I pray. I will gather faithfully for the collective worship and praise of God, to study scripture and fellowship with this body of Christ. I will strive to discover, develop and utilize the gifts with which I have been endowed by the Holy Spirit for the edification of His church. I will further continue my support of this Church with the dedication of my time, talents, tithes and offerings. In response to the Great Commission, I will strive to spread the gospel to the uttermost parts of the world through the mission programs of Christ’s church. I will seek by personal example and personal effort to lead others to Christ and to encourage their growth toward Christian maturity in both life and work. Should occa-sion arise when I shall live elsewhere, I will unite with another church of like faith and practice where I can continue to carry out this covenant.
