Rubber ducks have been around since the rise othe rubber industry in the late 1800s, but no one knowstheir exact origin. During World Wars I and II, rubberwas a valuable commodity which was rationed and bythe 1940s with the advent o plastic, the rubber duckybegan being produced in vinyl and plastic.
