OOLD CARS ---- YOU’RE INVITED NEW LOCATION, NEW TOPICS, NEW DATES
Mondays 1:00 pm Fiesta Room Back for the second year is “CAR TALK”, an hour of fun with your friends and neighbors reminiscing about life and cars when you were young. We will be talking and learning about cars of the 40’s, 50’s and 60’s, with some earlier and later models as well. It will be a one hour meeting in the FFiesta Room on MMondays starting on January 7th for 10 weeks, with all new material. Bring your car pictures, car stories, and tales of the highway. We will select a different make each week and discuss its models, history and special features. We will also have a 20 item educational handout each week titled “Know Your Cars”. Everyone is welcome; owning an old car is not required, but just have an interest in them. Come and have some fun, meet some new friends, talk cars for an hour, and leave with some knowledge that you didn’t have when you came in. Just bring a pen or pencil. Hopefully we will even have a few “Door Prizes”.
HOSTED BY FRANK STARKES, LONG TIME COLLECTOR AND OLD CAR ENTHUSIAST.
WORDSMITHS Wordsmiths is a writing group that meets on Thursdays at 1:00 in the Fiesta Room. If you have ques-tions call Bob or Do Kaiser at 239-433-5688 or stop by at #641 Playa.

We are very excited about sponsoring the Ronald McDonald House this year as our charity of choice. It is a local charity and located near the Golisano Children’s Hospital of Southwest Florida. The Ronald McDonald House is a home-away-from-home for families of seriously ill children undergoing medical treatment. It helps loved ones remain together as a family in an environment of comfort, compassion, strength and support. Please help us support this worthy charity by making a cash donation or by signing up for a Pink Flamingo Flocking by calling Mary at 508-404-5310 or by signing up in the Activities Office.
