Pastor Rocky, Sherrie, Jon and Christy, Mary and Brian,

Joshua, and Matthew. Lord, I pray for Pastor Rocky, that

You would give him direction as he leads us through the

most pivotal year in our churchs history. Give him Your

vision and Your plan. Help him to model the commitment

needed to fulfill that vision. Give us the willingness to do

whatever it takes to accomplish Your vision. Please be

with Rocky has he has surgery to repair his torn ACL and

as he goes through the long recovery process. Help

Sherrie to be the encourager and helpmate You have

called her to be and help their children to love You with all

their hearts, souls, minds, and strength.

David (Schrodt), Katy, Josiah, Jacob, Callie, and Caleb.

Lord, help David to always remember Your teaching and

keep Your commands in his heart. Bestow upon him both

love and faithfulness so that he will win favor and a good

name in the sight of God and man. Guard his heart and

make level paths for his feet. May he fear You and gainwisdom and knowledge. Also, help David to love Katy as

You love Your church and help Katy to respect David and

Scott, Tracey, Garrett, and Jessica. Lord, I pray that You

will fill Scott up with Your Spirit and that You will be his

source of strength, energy, encouragement, and wisdom as

he serves You daily. I pray for a healthy balance in his life

and praise You for the incredible blessings You are bringing

in his ministry area. Father, give Scott wisdom and discern-

ment and continue to provide direction as he leads NCA. Be

with him as he begins the process of interviewing for the

Upper School Principal as well as Teachers for next year.

Give him understanding and compassion as he meets with

individual members and as he prepares for his weekly LIFE

Group meeting. Guide him in his leadership role within our

Future Development projects. I pray for Garrett, who isbeginning his second semester of college, that You would

guide and direct his path.

Steve, Karen, Sarah, David, Kevin, Michael, Jennifer &Nathan, Sarah & Matt. I pray that Steve would be filled withthe knowledge of Your will in all spiritual wisdom andunderstanding and that he would walk in a manner worthy of

the Lord and that he would please You in all respects. Helphim to bear fruit in every good work. I pray that Steve willincrease in his knowledge of You. I pray that Steveschildren would be champions for Christ. That he and Karenwould grow closer to one another and closer to You. Lord, Ipray that Aaryn will come to know Christ at an early age.Equip Jennifer and Nathan to be godly parents to this pre-cious little girl. I pray for Sarah and Matt as they begin theirlives together. I pray their marriage will be one that honors

and brings glory to God. Mike and Sarah. Lord, we pray for Mike and Sarah as they

learn to be everything that You have called them to be to one

SERVICES IN OUR NEW FACILITY: Father we praise Youfor all the new people You are bringing to Northside. Help us tobe effective as we minister in Your name. We ask that Youcontinue to work in our hearts and minds to change us intovessels You can use. Help us to worship You in Spirit and inTruth. I pray that You would overwhelm us with Your presenceas we Worship together as a body. Help us love, encourage, andchallenge each other as we live out our faith. We thank You forall You have done and ask that You continue to guide and direct

our steps. Help us be obedient to Your will and not get side-tracked by the distractions of this world. We ask You to continueto bring many visitors to our new campus and that lives would betransformed as they hear the gospel message.

Pleaseshow them how to use time and resources efficiently asplans are made to visit colleges and fill out applications andforms necessary for admission and financial aid. We ask thatYou provide wisdom and guidance as Cassidy and Sydneyand Eric face some changes in their biological families over

the next few months. We praise You for the way You will workto restore relationships and bring glory to Your name alone.We take comfort in the fact that You see, You know, and Youcare. We praise You for Your faithfulness through it all.

Jon (Purvis) and Christy. Lord we pray for Jon and Christyand ask that Your favor would be upon them as they lead ourcollege ministry. Guide and direct them and give them wisdomas they connect with these students. Be with Jon as he pre-

pares his messages for The Hill on Thursday evenings. Fillhim with Your Spirit and use him to lead many lost students toa saving knowledge of You. I pray that Jon and Christy wouldgrow closer to You and closer to each other. Bless their mar-riage and direct their path as they follow You.

Ericka, Brian, Noah and Caleb. Lord, I pray that Erickawould always seek Your wisdom and direction as she leadsthe Preschool Ministry. I pray that You would give her strength

as she strives to fulfill her responsibilities at work and at home.I pray that Brian and Ericka would continue to grow closer intheir marriage and that their marriage would be pleasing toYou. I pray that You would equip Brian and Ericka as parentsand that their lives would be an example for Noah and Calebto follow. I pray for Brian, that You would bless his efforts atwork and praise You for the work opportunities that You con-tinue to provide. I pray for Noah and Caleb, that they would

SPIRIT OF FREEDOM

2 Corinthians 3:17 says where the Spirit of the Lord is,

there is freedom. Lord, we pray that You would move

among us and pour out Your Spirit of Freedom. We long to be

true worshippers! Help us be free to worship You.

SPIRIT OF PRAYERBut you, dear friends, build yourselves up in your mostholy faith and pray in the Holy Spirit. Jude 1:20 Lord, help

us to realize the importance of prayer! We ask that You would

help Northside become a House of Prayer. Bring many who

will join us in our Prayer Ministries: Watchman on theWall,

Pre-Service Prayerand Intercessory Prayer.

SPIRIT OF UNITYMake every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through

the bond of peace. Ephesians 4:3 Father God, help

Northside achieve the unity of faith that is pleasing in Your

sight. The forces of darkness draw strength from the division of

Your people. We ask that You would help us be a unified body

of believers. Create in us a Spirit of Unity as we move forward,

yearning to become the church You want us to be.

PRAY FOR OUR MINISTRIES TOPEOPLE IN ALL AGES AND

STAGES OF LIFE

PRESCHOOL MINISTRYWe praise You for the teachers

and their hearts for children. Use their talents to honor You

and build a firm foundation in these young hearts. We pray

that You would bless our teachers, give them endurance,

patience and love as the serve. I pray that even the little

toddlers could grasp biblical basics and build upon them as

they grow. Let us see the spiritual fruit developing in our

the week! We ask that You would make Your presence

known in each family that is part of Northside Kids. Please

show Fathers how to claim their responsibilities of Leadership

and Love in the home, and Mothers to lead by example

through Respect and Nurture. Show each parent how to

build a basic Biblical foundation that will mold the hearts of

their children to a pattern of seeking you for all things. We

know that You know the needs we have for volunteers in Life

Groups, Kids Worship, AWANA, Music and Missions, and

Upward Sports. We know that You have not put these oppor-

tunities to minister in our path so they could fail and bring a

blight to Your name. So we ask that You keep prompting

those that You have called, to answer the call, and step for-

ward to fill the need. We ask that You help us in planningand decision making to be good stewards of the time and

resources you have given. We pray for Your guidance

through the Outreach opportunities available through our

partnership with Meadow Glenn Elementary, the Upward

Sports Leagues, and Thirsty Spring Break Day Camp. We

ask that You sustain us through the transitions ahead, help

us to work in harmony with NCA, our community, and our

fellow believers for unity among the body that will draw all

those watching to You.

COLLEGE MINISTRY Father, please bless the CollegeMinistry. I pray that You would give our students favor as theybuild relationships with other students who are far fromChrist. Give them courage to introduce others to You. I praythat they would not have divisions, but be unified around the

cross. Father, I pray that many students would bring theirlost friends to The Hill on Thursday nights. I pray that manylost people would comethat You would soften hearts, andthat many would be changed by the Gospel message.

ADULT MINISTRY / LIFEGROUPS Lord, thank You for

the leadership You have raised up in our LIFE Groups.

Equip them, by the power of Your Holy Spirit, to lead boldly

and confidently. I pray for all those being approached for

leadership positions in their LIFE Groups, that they prayer-

fully seek the Lords guidance and direction. I pray that the

Word of God will take root in peoples lives so that we will

not simply be hearers only, but doers of the Word. I pray

that each member will commit to be involved in all aspects

of our Global Missions Celebration, February 8-12the

missionary fellowships, churchwide mission opportunities,

volunteer opportunities and worship services.

MUSIC MINISTRY - Lord, please continue to prompt peopleto serve in the needed areas of the Audio/Visual ministryand instrumentalists for the first service. May they be people

with a love for You and a skill to serve in these ministries.

God, help David to effectively minister to the needs of those

who sacrifice their time and talents each week. Bless every-

one involved in the music ministry and all the time they put

in to make each Sunday a beautiful time of worship! Lord, as

those who lead the rest of the congregation before Yourthrone, may they lead with integrity and character. May You

guide every decision that David makes on behalf of the Wor-

ship and Arts ministry. As David takes on the director role of

the Senior Adult Choir, help him to minister to their needs

and may that choir be blessed and be a blessing to others.

Be also with Katy as she directs the childrens choir. Help

her to truly minister to these young children as she instills in

them a love of music and teaches them Godly principles,especially with the focus this season on Your amazing

grace!

Father God, I ask You to tear down every excuse we have fornot sharing our faith regularly. I pray that You would give us aheart to share the gospel with every home within 15 miles ofour church. Help all our members to embrace the each onereach one strategy so that many will come to know You asLord and Savior.

I pray that lives will be changed and the kingdom will increase

through the Churchwide Mission Opportunities during our

Global Missions Celebration, February 8-12, 2012. Use the

Saturday that we meet to put together salvation bracelets,

parachutes for Voice of the Martyrs, for clients that the Good

Samaritan Clinic will see, students impacted by the training

sessions at HIS Ministries, bags put together for Daybreak

Ministries to help single moms, door hangers distributed withthe Hispanic church that meets on our campus, and for

ministry opportunities at the Hindu temple Bible study. Use

Northsiders in a powerful way for your kingdoms sake.

UTTERMOST PARTS

Lord, I pray for our missions leadership as we explore the

possibility of engaging an Unengaged Unreached People

Group (UUPG) in 2012. Give them clear guidance and direc-

tion as we seek to be on mission with you.

Father, I thank you for the rapid church planting movements

in China, India, parts of Eastern Europe and the Third

World. Thank you for their example and passion to share

Christ and make him known that you are using to effectively

develop healthy multiplying churches in their countries.

Father, I pray for the Iranian Christians who remain faithful

even as increasing numbers are imprisoned. I pray for Pas-

tor Youcef Nadarkhani who has been imprisoned over 2

years for his faith in Jesus Christ and for the house church

he leads which now includes more than 400 believers. Give

them strength to remain steadfast in their faith during these

days of persecution.
