thanking everyone in the
interview and hiring
process in getting me
back in Remsen as your
new superintendent. A bigto the whole golf course
board for the job offer. I
am excited to be back in
the area and working at
the golf course I grew up
on playing. I look forward
to meeting all the new and
old faces that I have
become familiar with while
growing up in Remsen
over the years. I also look
forward to meeting those

Previous Experiences
Since leaving Remsen in2005 after graduation, Iattended Iowa StateUniversity, majoring inHorticulture (TurfgrassManagement) and Agronomy (Soil Sciences& Environmental Quality),graduating in the spring of 2010. While at Iowa State,
I completed 3 internships. The first at MedinahCountry Club (Chicago,IL) in 2007, repairing thecourse from the previousyears’ PGA Championshipalong with the daily careof a Top 100 club. In2008, I was at East LakeGolf Club (Atlanta, GA)while we did a complete
new faces and members
in our community. Again, I
am really excited in
becoming your
superintendent and
making someimprovement on the
course. I have been
getting started with the
work already with
servicing all of our
equipment along with
starting to grind reels for
the upcoming golf season.
I have created a
Facebook page to
communicate with the
membership on what’s
happening on the golf
course on a daily basis.
You can find that at
Remsen Golf Course
Grounds, along with a
Twitter feed which willhave the same information
posted as the Facebook
page @RemsenGCSupt. I
will be continuing to write
monthly newsletters
informing all of you of
major events happening at
the golf course and what
to expect on an agronomic
standpoint in the
upcoming or previous
points to keep you
informed.
