Majlis Khuddamul Ahmadiyya Pledge

He it is Who created you from clay, and then He decreed a term. And there

is another term fixed with Him. Yet you doubt!’ And He is Allah, the

God, both in the heavens and in the earth. He knows your inside and your

outside. And He knows what you earn... (Chapter 6: Verse 3-4)

On 26 December 2014 Hazrat Khalīfatul-Masīh V(May Allāh be his Helper) delivered the Friday Sermon at Baitul Futuh Mosque, London UK

Jalsa Salana has started in Qadian today and similarly in some other countries also. There

was a time when Jalsa Salana used to be held only in Qadian, India. Then after partition,

Jalsa Salana started taking place also in Pakistan. But after a time the remembrance of

Allah and His Messenger, the Holy Prophet of Islam, by the members of the Ahmadiyya

Muslim Community, became unbearable for the Pakistan government and this was

stopped by law.

This Jasla is indeed such as can bring about revolutions in the minds of the people and that

is what it ought to bring about. And different nations are joining in these Jalsas. In Qadian

31 nations are joining. Thus by placing restrictions on our Jalsa in one country our

opponents had imagined that they had dealt a powerful blow but the enemy is misguided

and does not understand that the Imam of the Age had not said that he was establishing a

Jama’at but had said that the Hand of God had put in place the foundation stone of this

Movement.

After drawing our attention, the attention of those attending the Jalsa to righteousness,

purity and piety he drew our attention with great pain and feeling, that we should become

exemplary in soft heartedness, mutual love and brotherhood - that we should be those

who display humility and be ready to make sacrifices for the sake of each other and be

such as those who establish new and high standards of truthfulness and good conduct.

The Promised Messiah(as) made it clear that by understanding some arguments or by

making our opponents silent and gaining victory over them by arguments alone we cannot

win the pleasure of Allah, the Exalted. It is not enough for us to just acquire knowledge.

Acquiring knowledge has its place but in order to please Allah, the Exalted, and in order to

absorb His love we need to make progress in our deeds and actions. We have to change

our condition.

Everyone who joins this Jalsa instead of looking for these comforts should try and immerse

himself in the spiritual environment that exists there and spend their time in prayers. In

these days especially while they pray for their own faith and they should also pray for the

progress of the Jama’at and the strengthening of the links with Khilafat and the Jama’at.

KHIDMAT-E-KHALQ New years’ cleanup was organised this year by the instructions of Hazrath Khalifatul Masih V atba given during his visit to NZ last

year. Maintenance of the Khuddam Van was carried out to make it roadworthy and legal. The van is lent to Jamaat members for

only the cost of petrol as a service. Help was provided for various National Jamaat activities throughout the year like the Quran

exhibition, Mosque open days, Walkathon, Jamaat family day and Peace Conference. Assistance was offered to Humanity First

NZ, Assistance provided during Khuddam Huntly trip. Assistance provided to Jamaat member who was injured, Blood donation

was also done last month.

TALEEM

The Khuddam Taleem syllabus was revised and published.

Khuddam classes were held nearly every month, which included topics like Quran Hifz and reading, prayer, hadith and religious

knowledge.

A Special Ramazan and Qulloo Jamia session held in July, where brother brought a dish from home to share among each other.

TARBIYYAT

Tarbiyyat sessions were combined with Talim classes. Tanzeem level discussions held during National Ijlas on Tarbiyyat topics.

MAL

Khuddam budget prepared.A chanda collection of approx. $8000 was made

UMUMI

Security was organised for various National events, including when non-Ahmadis protested like Quran exhibition and Mosque

open day. Security was also organised during Seeratun Nabi Day, Khilafat day and National Peace Conference. During the Holy

month of Ramazan security was provided during Taraveeh prayers. Also Security and car parking organised during Eid.

SIHAT-E-JISMANI

Noor Cup held in March which had competitions in Football, Volleyball and Tug o war. Table tennis was also played.

Help was provided to organise and several Khuddam took part in the National event walkathon.A Table Tennis Table purchased

and matches were organised matches between Magrib and Ishaa prayers. Support received from National for temporary

Volleyball court, and steps are taken to make this a reality. Noor Cup engraving was done. And a very successful Table Tennis

doubles tournament organised daily after Taraveeh prayers during Ramazan.

WAQAR-E-AMAL

Mosque cleanup carried out before National events like mosque open day and before Eid ul Fitr.

SANAT-O-TIJARAT/TEHRIK-E-JADID

An Electrical skills presentation was held during Khuddam class, which was highly appreciated by all the participants.

ATFAL

The Atfal Syllabus was revised and published. Atfal classes were held regularly nearly every month. Fortnightly classes were held

to teach Quran recitation. And Atfal participated in the special Ramazan and Qulloo Jamia session.

TABLIGH

Quran exhibition flyer distribution done in Papakura where 20 Khuddam participated in addition to Ansar and Atfal distributing

around 2000 leaflets. Jamaat books were handed over to Whangarei, Kawakawa and Russell library.

Peace message distribution was done at Huntly where 1000 pamphlets were distributed and 10 khuddam participated.

Unsolicited invitations were distributed for Huntly Peace Symposium and Jamaat literature dropped off at Huntly library. Peace

message distribution was done in Avondale. Public lecture and Q&A session was held in Huntly with the attendance of 6 external

guests. An article was published in Al-Akseer about Tabligh in small towns initiative

TAJNEED

A new Muhtamim was appointed this year.The Tajneed was updated. A Tajneed survey project started. Annual MKANZ survey

prepared and distributed.

ISHA’AT

Al-Akseer was published almost every month, with special editions issued for Musleh Maud, Masih Maud and Seeratun Nabi

day.Photography was done for various events like New Years’ cleanup.

QAID Majalis

Communication of Khuddam events and participation was encouraged.

National Secretary Waqf e Jadeed NZ Waqf-e-Jadeed was founded in 1957 by Hadrat Khalifatul Masih II (ra). The aim of this scheme is to provide education and training as well as to take the message of Tauhid (Unity of Almighty Allah) to idol worshippers. It was, at first, limited to Pakistan, but Hadrat Khalifatul Masih IV (rh) later made it international. About this scheme, Hadrat Khalifatul Masih II (ra) said: "This is the undertaking of Allah, and He Himself will complete it. Since it is Allah Almighty who has put this inspiration in my heart, I shall endeavour to fulfil it even if I have to sell my house and my clothes to do so and even if not a single person assists me. Allah shall cut them off from the Jama‘at who are not helping me in this regard and will send down angels from heaven to help me."

About Waqf e Jadeed Hazrat Khalifatul-Masih Al-Khamis (atba) says: “In this age of rampant materialism and commercialism when public, especially in the Western world, is bombarded with enticements to purchase merchandise, the Holy Qur’an guides us, setting forth the contrast of a “bargain” of striving in the way of Allah with one’s wealth.” “Those who are well off should consider if the donations they make are real sacrifices” 6th January 2006, Qadian.

MashAllah Majlis Khudam Ul Ahmadiyya New Zealand participated in the blessed scheme of Waqf e Jadeed with full zeal and zest in the year 2014. May Allah accept your sacrifices and bless you abundantly. As per the instructions of our beloved Hazur Hadrat Khalifatul Massih Khamis (atba) we should try our best to have every one participate in this blessed scheme. We still have room for improvement and in this year we should strive to increase our promises and also include every one of our family members be part of this scheme. In the end I would like to mention some instructions regarding Waqf e Jadeed :-

The Waqf-e-Jadeed year begins on 1st January and ends on 31st December. Effort should be made so that not a single member of the Jama‘at, man, woman, old or young should be left out of this

scheme. New Ahmadis should also be included in this scheme. The head of the family should make sure that no member of his house is left out of the scheme. Chanda should even be

paid on behalf of newborns. Those who have just started earning independently should participate in

it with greater zeal. Members should try to continue the sacrifices of deceased relatives who used to pay Chanda Waqf-e-Jadeed.
