MORINGA POWDERThe Tree of Life

MORINGA POWDER 100% pure and organic powder made from the freshly harvested leaves of the Moringa Oleifera Tree of Salima District, Malawi.

Moringa Oleifera has a unique and complex blend of vital nutrients and dried leaves retain them, in a high bio-available food state, meaning the body recognizes and absorbs them easier than chemically made nutrients.

Rice is a fundamental food in many cultural cuisines around the world, and it is an important ancient cereal crop that feeds more than half of the world’s population. Rice is a healthy food too:

It is a great source of fast and instant energy, since it is abundant in carbohydrates. It is rich in vitamins, minerals and antioxidants.

DRIED RED CHILLIESThe Hottest Peri-Peri

DRIED RED CHILLIES from Bird’s Eye Chillies of Salima District, Malawi.

African Bird’s Eye Chilli , also called “peri peri”, is a cultivar of Capsicum frutescens, family of Solanaceae. The chilli is actually the fruit pod of the plant and it is presumably called Bird’s Eye Chilli because of the small round shape and because it has been spread by birds, which are not affected by the heat of the pepper.

It is generally red at maturity, but may also be yellow, purple or black; it is small, but is quite hot (piquant) and pungent. It’s rating is about 175,000 Scoville units, relatively similar to the more well-known Mexican Habanero.

Chilli can pep up your meal as well as your health.

The active ingredient is capsaicin, which gives the strong spicy and pungent character. It contains vitamin C, vitamins A and E, beta-carotene, folic acid and potassium too.

It has a range of health benefits, including fighting sinus congestion, aiding digestion and helping to relieve migraines and muscle, joint and nerve pain.

Chilli has long been used to reduce food micro-contamination and is also considered a potential metabolism booster for weight loss.

Dried chillies can be stored at room tempera-ture in a cool, dark place, inside airtight containers for many months; and can be milled to powder using mixer/grinder as and when required.
