The School Name news team produces a live news broadcast for the school each morning. STLP members serving on the news crew arrive at school 30-40 minutes early to work on the daily broadcast. News is presented for our school as well as announcements of high school and community activities.

The James T. Alton news broadcasts provides a forum for communities events ranging from performances at the PAC, to community wide events such as blood drives, and Walk-For-Life.
