JAMES STANLEY DALTON (JIM) GENEALOGICAL INFORMATION The following information is from my daddy’s (Grover Stanley Dalton) Genealogical Data. I have abbreviated so this won’t be too long, but it might get us back to a common ancestor. I will start with Timothy, Jr. His father may have been Timothy, Sr. The Timothy’s are where we have all hit a brick wall. Recent DNA testing indicates that our Dalton Branch may have come from Ireland and possibly through England. To save space I did not use Dalton at the end of first names. Timothy, Jr. (~1690 – 1767) married Elizabeth ?????. Their children were: Robert, Elizabeth, David, Timothy, Reuben, Samuel, James, John F. and William. John F. (~1750 – 1833) married Mary Ann Flannagan. Their children were: James, Winston, Martin, Nancy, A. Booker, John R., Shelton, Robert, Matilda, and Lucinda. Robert (1793 – 1845) married Tabitha Hall. Their children were: Elizabeth, Almira, Thomas, John H., Elsworth Rucker, Shelton, James, Booker H., Robert Caloway, and Locke Carson. Locke Carson (1819 - 1892) married Malvinia Pearson. Their children were: Catherine, Martha, John Booker, James Henry, Mary, Tabitha, and William Elzia. John Booker (1858 – 1932) married Mary Francis Barry. Their children were: Mallie, Edgar, Samuel, Ernestine, Grover Cleveland, Barry, and Lettie Mai. Grover Cleveland (1884 – 1959) married Georgia May Floyd. Their children were: John Floyd, Grover Stanley, Carl Winston, Joseph David, Clyde Everett, Mildred Ruth, and Thomas George. Grover Stanley (1913 - ) married Mattie Belle Lee. Their children are: James Stanley (Jim) and Martha Lee (1944 - ). James Stanley (1941 - ) married, (1) Wanda Lou Huddleston (1941 – 1978), and (2) Gladys Ann Watson (1938 - ). Wanda and I had James Stephen. James Stephen (1974 - ) married Jennifer (Jenny) Marie Chester. They have a son, James Hunter (5-21-2003) and a daughter, Haley Marie (4-12-2005).
