Sickness & Distress: Phoenix Bridegroom:

Update 5/15: Hello Friends! Phoenix was seen at Riley Hospital today for a routine check up, and she

continues to amaze us all with her progress. Her blood counts remain in the perfect range, her

chemistries are normal, and she gained a pound this week. (Yayyyyyyy!) Now that her G.I. system

seems to be healed (no more nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, and able to eat & drink), she is able to have

her central line removed. So...we have plans to go back to Indy in 2 weeks for surgery! Phoenix

is absolutely thrilled because she has not been able to take a real bath or shower in nearly 4 months,

and she hates having her dressing changed every week. She says that once the line is out, she will feel

like a regular kid. She has no idea that she is so MUCH MORE than regular, but we all know what she

means. Thank you all for the thoughts and prayers that have gotten us this far! God bless.

"We know we were made for so much more than ordinary lives. It's time for us to more than just

survive. We were made to thrive." -Casting Crowns

Dennis Schraeder: In case you have not heard, Dennis Schraeder was in a motorcycle accident last

night. He is ok and is now home resting. He suffered a broken wrist and some stitches in his

head. Needless to say he will not be at the Ascension program Thursday. Ken Roy has graciously

agreed to fill in as Commander. I am sure Dennis would appreciate prayers as he

recovers. Fraternally, Keith

Donald Borchert, GPE: Don update: Surgeon today said everything looks good and is where it

should be. Start out-patient therapy next week. Don will see the infectious disease Doctor next

Tuesday. We are keeping our fingers and toes crossed! Mickey

Darrell E. Morris Brothers all, Darrell has been hospitalized for about a week due to his blood

chemistry. The chemotherapy caused his blood sugar to get dangerously low, and it took over a week

for the doctors to get a handle on that. He is also unable to swallow as a result of the radiation burning

his throat. This is so severe that he is being fed through a tube going into his stomach. Yesterday,

Darrell was moved to a care facility for rehab. As long as he is on a feeding tube, there is a danger of

infection, and in his weakened state, that would be a problem. No one is permitted to visit him with

cold symptoms, because his resistance is so low. When the throat burning subsides (he has only a

couple of more radiation treatments) he should be able to swallow again. Presently he is unable to

have even water! His address, for the cards I'm sure you will want to send him is: Darrell E. Morris,

Room 504, Kindred Rehab at Wildwood, 7301 E 16th St, Indianapolis, IN 46218. The phone number

there is: 353-1290. Darrell is having a difficult time speaking. If you call, I would suggest you keep

your conversation short. Let's all keep Darrell in our prayers. His future is very uncertain. John D.

CC: Donna Cofer - Good Cheer Committee

Luke Whitehouse and Ron Yesterday: Here is the update on Luke Whitehouse and Ron. Yesterday,

Luke was playing Corn Hole and became very hot and light headed Ron and another fellow were

walking him back to the hotel when Colleen and I checked him over. After talking with Luke and his

condition not improving, with his approval I call for a Medic Ambulance at the time he was sweating

profusely, skin was white/then ashen, pinpoint eyes and complaining of chest pains. The Medic

personnel transported Luke to Columbus Regional Hospital about 6 pm. He is now hospitalized for

at least two days as the doctors try to get his heart rhythm back to a normal rhythm. They did shock

him en route to the hospital it was an effort to get his heart in a normal rhythm. At the present time

they are using medication only to get him back to normal. Then approximately 1:45 am Ron & Sally

were arriving at their hotel room when Ron fell hitting his head on either the steps or the hard surface

of the floor rupturing a blood vessel. He lost a lot blood so they transported him to Methodist Hospital

via Helicopter. There he received blood and was operated on to close the head wound (Stitches) and

was placed in the ICU Ward in a medical induced coma until he began to recover. This morning they

brought him out of the coma, but he is pretty banged up. He is still in critical condition but stable.

Sally stated they had to give him several units of blood so he is still in ICU at Methodist.

Colleen and I went to see him today, but he can't speak and needs his rest. I explained we are all

praying for him and I gave him an update on Luke.

Indiana Deaths: Kenneth D. Englehart: It is my great sorrow to notify you that our Brother and Past Master, Kenneth

D. Englehart has died. Ken was born on June 29, 1935 and was raised to the sublime degree of a

Master Mason on April 2, 1975. He served as our Worshipful Master for the year of 1982. Our Brother

died on May 11, 2015. A Masonic Memorial Service will be presented on May 14, 2015 at 7:00 PM at

the Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W. 8th St., Mishawaka, IN 46544. I would ask that all those who will

participate in the service arrive at 6:45 PM to hear the reading of the Masonic Record of our Brother

and prepare for the processional. Visitation for the evening will be from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

Fraternally, William R. Gray PM, Worshipful Master of Mishawaka Lodge # 130, F&AM

WB Steve Thais, in his first year as secretary of Vincennes Lodge No. 1 and secretary-recorder of the

Vincennes York Rite bodies, died in an apparent tree-trimming accident Wednesday on his farm just

north of Vincennes. A Democrat, Thais was a long-time member of the Knox County Council and had

run unsuccessfully for the Indiana State Senate. The Knox County Sheriff's Department is

investigating the accident and all arrangements are pending. Edward L. Sebring

Fri. November 6, 2015. RSKO – 2015 Annual Convivial – Louisville, KY

Sat. November 7, 2015. SRICF – 2015 Annual High Council Meeting – Louisville, KY To Members of the SRICF, since the recent release of the Program for

Masonic Week, we have received a number of inquiries about the plans

of the Societas Rosicruciana in Civitatibus Foederatis. After several

years of discussions, among the Officers and Chief Adepts, it has been

decided that our Annual Meeting would be more centrally located and at

a time less susceptible to inclement weather. The High Council will

meet on November 7, 2015 at the Brown Hotel in Louisville, KY. The

RSKO (Royal Society of Knights Occidental) will have their annual

Convivial, the night before on November 6, 2015 at the same

location. Room rates will be $129.00 with special parking rates, and

free shuttle service to and from the airport. Check out the Brown Hotel

at www.brownhotel.com. Those of you who miss the elegance of the

Hotel Washington are going to love this Hotel. Reservations may be
