    SPOKE 1[1,8,15]

    Ray of Purpose/Will. The initial motivation (or drive) that carriesthe momentum of the complete master cycle. Thecycles/phases of this spoke reflect conscious andsubconscious forces that are driving us in a particulardirection, or energies that we are strongly, but perhaps

    unconsciously, identified with, and/or that reinforce the 'I' (i.e.ego, or sense of identity).

    SPOKE 2[2,9,16]

    Ray of Love/Wisdom. This spoke expresses values and reflectsdesires that are a significant magnetic influence within themaster cycle. It is a feminine magnetic influence incontradistinction to the masculine force of the first spoke. Thecycles/phases of this spoke often reflect what we hope to

    gain during the master cycle.

    SPOKE 3

    [3,10,17]

    Ray of Active Intelligence. The third spoke reflects the'intelligence' aspect (i.e. the mental component) that isguiding and influencing the entire course of the master cycle.Its cycles/phases express where and/or how the mind ispreoccupied during the cycle.

    SPOKE 4

    [4,11,18]

    Ray of Harmony/Conflict. The fourth spoke represents thefoundation that is relied upon, the groundwork being done,and the structures that are being built during the mastercycle. Cycle [11] is located at the midpoint of the time-line ofthe master cycle. Cycle [18] is called the 'Israel' cyclebecause it reflects Jacobs (i.e. Israels) initiatory struggleduring the darkness of night.

    SPOKE 5

    [5,12,19]

    Ray of Creative Mind (or Science). The fifth spoke addscreative energy to the master cyclethat is, it instills the soul's

    vibration (or 'key-note'). The cycles/phases of this spoke oftencoincide with significant interactions with friends and/or thecommunity.

    SPOKE 6[6,13,20]

    Ray of Devotion. The sixth spoke demonstrates itself primarily inservicemost positively, as an act of love or devotion, andmore negatively, as an act of servitude, or out of a feeling ofobligation, or in thinking that you know what's best for others.Health issues can also be a focus during the cycles/phases of

    this spoke.

    SPOKE 7[7,14,21]

    Ray of Ceremonial Magic. The seventh spoke reflects theinter-relationship (or communion) between Heaven and Earth(or between the spiritual and the material), and it reflects the

    way this special relationship is expressed within the master

    cycle. Often the cycles/phases of this spoke coincide withintimate, privately internalised, mystical, and/or hiddeninfluences.
