+ Cleanse: Always start and end the day with a natural gentle cleanser. Cleansers remove dirt and rid toxins from skin. Choose between Cleansers, Complexion Bars, or Daily Scrubs.

+ Exfoliate: Add MicroScrub daily or weekly to cleanser. Exfoliation removes dirt, toxins, and stimulates skin tissue creating brighter healthy looking skin.

+ Tone: Use Toner and/or Mist. Use Toner to treat and balance skin. Following cleansing, apply toner to remove residual cleanser, balance pH, and hydrate. Use Hydrating Mist before applying Serums or Skin Cream to lock in moisture.

+ Nourish with a Serum: Protect, and restore skin with a deeply penetrating and highly concentrated Serum. Apply serum alone, or before Skin Cream to lock in its potent ingredients. Or add a few drops to Skin Cream and apply. Always mist face first to lock in moisture.

+ Nourish with a Moisturizer: Protect and soften skin with a Skin Cream. Donʼt forget to apply to neck and chest. If not applying a serum first, make sure to use a Hydrating Mist before applying.

+ Detox: Weekly treatment to remove toxins, fight free radicals and rejuvenate tired skin while adding vitamins, minerals and improving skins elasticity. Use a combination of Jackson Sage products to target specific skin care concerns.

Why Handcrafted SoapsAll of our soaps are handmade using the cold-process method. You will find our soaps contain retained glycerin, natural oils, butters, herbs, clay, and pure essential oils. All soaps are scented with essential oils--- in other words no synthetic fragrances-- only pure therapeutic grade essential oils.

Please note that each soap batch will be slightly different in shape, size and color due to being Handcrafted.  Size is approximately 3.25 oz.

Why should you use handmade soap?

First, they are detergent free. Why would you not want detergents? Detergents are a synthetic based ingredient that is toxic to fish and wildlife. Handcrafted soaps use ingredients found in nature and are not harmful to fish and wildlife. Detergents are not only bad for the environment, they strip your skin leaving it dry and thirsty.

Second, handmade soaps contain all of the goodness soaps are meant to have. Unlike Big Companies, handmade soaps contain natural glycerin, nourishing oils and soothing butters that moisturize the skin. You skin will not only be clean but moisturized!

My name is Princess Buttercup and I am the CEO, Canine Executive Officer, of Doggie Sage.  I am a 1.5 year old, YorkiePoo or as my human likes to say TroublePoo.  I enjoy long walks in the park, chasing cats, treating up paper and bacon cheese burgers (not healthy but yummy!).  My favorite toy is a fluffy slipper, that I have been know to sneak around the house with (Shhh, don't tell my human).  As for formal training, I attended Puppy School where I earned a PO (Puppy Obedience) with a minor is HT (Human Training).  I recently earned a Canine Good Citizen Certification and am certified Therapy Dog. I got hired for the gig of CEO one day when I was sitting there being cute.  Wait, I wasn't sitting there, I was digging in the mud.  The human like my qualifications of being extremely good at getting dirty, and being extremely small and easy to clean.  When I am not busy as CEO you can find me being a very diligent assistant in the garden, playing with my best friends Jasper and Pumpkin, and typing on my blog at doggiesage.com

With a mix of artistic inspiration and love of nature, Erika Hollen started making organic products over 15 years ago, after being inspired by DIY recipes in Sassy Magazine.  The start was simple recipes with lemon juice, mashed apples, items from the fridge, and herbs found in her Mother's cooking cupboard.  Today, what once was a school girl's experiment has transformed into Jackson Sage, LLC  featuring  more than 40 luxury botanical products ranging from soaps, skin creams, body cream and even canine care. 

A Houston, Texas native with a natural talent for gardening and art, Erika's career started following a more artistic path. Before pursuing Jackson Sage, Erika spent time studying art and art education.  All the while she was constantly experimenting in her kitchen with soaps and skin care.  Erika wanted to create a natural skin care line crafted from fresh ingredients for maximum potency.  Her goal was to create products from nature, that respect nature, and restore nature.

Continual research and testing of essential oils, plant extracts, and other botanical ingredients led to the launch of Jackson Sage Botanical Skin Care in 2007.   The company gained it name sake from several sources but it means "Guidance into the unknown."  Transforming part of her house into a studio, that includes a full kitchen, she began to make and sell Jackson Sage products at local markets and shops.  Upholding Erika's original goal, she continues to blend every product by hand, including the extracts, infusions, and decoctions.

Today, Jackson Sage Botanical Skin Care is sold across the country.  Erika Hollen divides her time between Richmond, Virginia and her hometown Houston, Texas.  She shares her life with Scott, her husband, 4 cats (Pumpkin, Chloe, Zelda and Boo) and 4 dogs (Brice, Eva, Jasper and Buttercup).  Erika's mischievous YorkiePoo, Buttercup, is the CEO (Canine Executive Officer) for Doggie Sage, Jackson Sage's canine care line.
