LET’S ENJOY SUMMER IN TAIWAN! By Irene

The sun is hanging above your head and

extremely bothering you. You would probably turn on

your air conditioner or hide yourself in the department

store enjoying the free cool. However, aren’t there

better ways to spend your summer time instead of

being an indoors man or girl? Yes, there is! There have

hundreds of gorgeous scenic spots where you can

enjoy during the summer time and have the great

memories! Let’s look up some of it:

I. Xitou Nature Education Area

Xitou Nature Education Areais a recreational

forestarea where you can embrace the nature! Itisone

of the concave valleys surrounded by mountains in

Nantou County, the average annual temperature is

16.6℃ which is very cool in summer.

In the area, there are many scenic spots

which you can’t miss:

i. The Landmark of

Xitou- University

Pond: University

Pond was created

to keep logs

moist. Later, the

pond became the representative landmark of

Xitou. You can enjoy the beautiful view there!

ii. Giant Tree: Although the center of the tree is

mostly rotted out and hollow, the giant tree still

standing straightly and shows the tenacity of

life. You can come and appreciate its

magnificence!

iii. Sky Walk:

The

walkway

is 180 m

long and 22.6 m which are about seven stories

above the ground. You can experience life in the

treetops walking on it and feel like you are

flying through the forest!

Come here and share the vitality with the nature,

no air conditioner but you can still stay cool in hot

summer, improve your health by walking through the

forest, how come there better way to spend your time

in Xitou Nature Education Area?!

II. Farglory Ocean Park

Hualien, where people usually think as “Rear

Mountain in Taiwan” which means a place hard to

arrive or quite remote, however, it has a beautiful and

gorgeous wonderland –Farglory Ocean Park.

Farglory Ocean Park is an ocean park with eight

theme parks and four theme shows. Combine the

entertainment and education, you can not only enjoy

the amusement facilities but also appreciate the marine

life such as dolphin, sea lion, sea cow etc. in the park.

The park is quite big and the shows are all

wonderful. Every theme park is different; you will feel

like yourself in the fairy tale when you walk through

it. Besides enjoy the show, there are some activities

providing the chances for you to experience different

things. If necessary, you can live in Farglory Hotel

which is near by the park so you can enjoy the park

without worrying other things. Come with your friends

or family and have the great memories!

DAL V.S. MIA Many critics forecast that Miami Heat will win the champion, but I forcast that Dallas Mavericks will win the

final game because there are many talented players that can score, such as D.Nowitzki, a steady scoring, J.Terry, a

awesome bench player, J.Kidd and J.J.Barea. Dalls plays as a team, but Miami depend on D.Wide, LBJ and

C.Bosh, their personal ability. But they are not always in a good codition! So I forcast that Dallas Mavericks will

win the champion.

that every inclination of the thoughts of the men’s heart was only evil all the time. God regrets that he had made

men on the Earth and his heart was filled with pain. Noah is the only person who has righteousness in this

generation. God told Noah, he had to make an ark and made himself, his

family and all kinds of animals with one male and one female in it. God

would sent a flood and destroy all the things under the heavens.

And God really did. Rain fell on the Earth for forty days and

nights. All things disappeared, except Noah’s ark. Everything died, but

not Noah’s family and the animals. The water flooded the Earth for150

days.

After the flood was gone, the ark was berthed at the Ararat

Mountain, which is now in Turkey. God set his rainbow in the clouds,

and promised that he would never use flood to destroy the world again.

And Sam’s girl friend is change in this attractive movie. The movie is not only famous in 3D but also make up

with more violent wars between robots and humans. It’s no wonder that Transformers3 is one of the most popular

movies in this summer.

J.J.Abraham and Steven Spielberg two great

directors direct Super8！

In the year 1970 the U.S. army decided to close

the mystic Area 51 where they hid the aliens.

When the aliens should be killed by the U.S.

army, but there is one escaped！

As soon as the alien escaped, a number of

children which used Super 8 camera prepared to

start a movie found that there was a strange shade

in their film. And after they witnessed a train

accident, some horrible things were happened in

this peaceful village. The director used the

humorous way to show the mystery of the movie.

After you see the movie you will be impressed by

the brave of the children. This movie will be the

best mystic movie in this summer.

HOW TO DO THE MANGOES ICE SAND by Alex

Material:

1. A mango (or more)

2. A cup of milk (700~800ml)

3. Two cups of ice

4. Two spoons of honey

Steps: First of all, cut the mango into pieces and put the ice into blender. Pour the milk and throw in the mangos

in it. But don’t forget to put the honey. Finally, turn on the blender and have your own palatable drink.

As a reminder: make sure you blender is able to break the ice . Also , you may try some other fruits.
