He stated that the Central Baptist Church property, 1035 Military Parkway, is presently on the market and would meet present and future needs of the Mesquite Social Services. He described the prol-ler ty as having approximately 10.000 square feet of floor space in two buildinqs, located on approximately 1.2 acres of land. He further stated that the property, which is currently owned by the Gross Road Baptist Church, is on the market for $300,000. Mr. Ferrin po~ntedout that they are attempting to get a market analysis on the Mesquite Social Services building at 207 West Main, but feel that if it is sold, it would bring in excess of $100,000. Mr. Ferrin was asked to provide add itional information regarding service projections that would warrant increasing their current floor space 2-1/2 times and also regarding the source of funding for these increased services. Mr. Hanz pointed out the need to determine a preliminary project List and budget to be published prior to the second public hearing on use of the CDRG funds.
