What is IYLIF International Youth Leadership & Innovation Forum is a platform for youth from all around
the world to speak, discuss and collaborate on topics that matter to them.
We believe innovations happen when we create an environment to foster creativity,
meaningful dialogues, diversity and collaborations.
Annual IYLIF conferences bring together a global panel of experts, educators, parents and
accomplished youth from all over the world. So far, students, teachers and experts from
21 countries have participated in IYLIF annual forums.
IYLIF is a platform that empowers youth to express their visions, actions and innovations.
Here they can unravel infinite possibilities, go beyond the boundaries of countries and
cultures to collaborate and achieve their full potential as global citizens and change
makers.
IYLIF is a platform that provides Singaporean youth leaders with the opportunity to mingle
with youth leaders from other countries. They are mentored by world class experts. Youth
gets the opportunity to have meaningful dialogues with experts and educators. This is a
the one of the only platforms where we hear the voice of youth about their future
compared to many forums where that let the youth listen to the adults.

IYLIF 2019 creates a platform for youngsters to promote their ideas, thoughts and suggestions for
a better today and tomorrow

• As part of the IYLIF mission, we select International Youth Ambassadors (IYA) to represent
the voice of youth globally.
Pre-Conference
• IYAs will be mentored over the period of 2 bootcamps with experts to groom them into
inspiring youth leaders.
Conference
• First day: Conference involving IYAs, educators, experts, parents and youth attendees
• Second day: Separate breakout sessions and workshops for students and teachers Post-Conference
• The mentoring of the IYAs will continue beyond the conference until 31st December 2019 to equip and assist them to be change makers.
Mission 1) To raise awareness about issues and concerns that are on the top of mind amongst our youths
2) To create a global pool of Gen-Z youth leaders
3) Provide a platform for Singaporean youth leaders to mingle and collaborate with their
counterparts from other countries.
4) To bring together youth on a safe platform to discuss freely their issues and concerns
5) To do so through creative and innovative solution-finding approach
6) To inspire youth to step up and be change makers to make a positive difference
7) To align parents, educators and youth in a neutral setting and equalising platform
8) To mentor youth and educators with 21st century skills of creativity, confidence, communication
and collaboration Vision 1) To be able to groom aspiring young individuals into inspiring International Youth Ambassadors
2) To be able to have healthy and constructive conversations around difficult youth topics
3) To harness the creative and unrestrained youth energies towards solution finding
4) To have each youth ambassador reach 1000 youth globally through their message
5) To nurture a youth community that will grow without borders and judgement

Sindu Sreebhavan, Chairperson IYLIF An innovation igniter, Sindu has a passion for providing young minds with 4C’s of Innovation – Creativity,
Confidence, Communication and Collaboration. She believes that if youngsters get the access to the right platform to work on their 4C’s, they will be able to gain growth mindset and the innovation mindset to achieve
excellence. Having had a diverse work experience in international consulting in 6 countries, advising companies on innovative business solutions, helping underprivileged children and public speaking, Sindu understands the
importance of cross-border dialogues among the youth for an innovative and collaborative future for them. In 2012, Sindu founded The Kidz Parade edutainment magazine, as a platform for children in Singapore to publish
their creativity and creative ideas and discover their growth mindset. She is a sought-after speaker on
innovation, creativity, growth mindset and design thinking and has spoken at many international conferences. She is the recipient of the award Exceptional Women of Excellence at Women Economic Forum. She is also
an award winning writer and speaker. She is the author of bestselling books Infinite Possibilities and 77 Thoughts To Kickstart Your Day and the lead
author of Amazon bestseller Breakthrough. Sindu holds a degree in Computer Science and Engineering and MBAs from NUS Business School UCLA
