To Apply...New Orleans T(ween) Travel Writing Workshop

June 13-21, 2009

All applicants must submit the following either through email or U.S. Postal Service:

• A letter of recommendation from a teacher or administrator from your current school.

• A 400-600 word essay on A Place That I Would Like to Visit (and Why). Essays should be typed in 14-point Times Roman font, double-spaced and submitted as a Word attachment.

Application, letter of recommendation, and essay must be received by January 10, 2009.

Acceptance notification will be emailed by February 1, 2009.

Accepted participants...

• must reserve a spot by February 21, at which time a non-refundable $500 deposit is required.

• Full payment is due April 13, 2009.Checks may be made out to:NOLA Travel Writers

Cancellation Policy: A camp reservation may be cancelled at any time prior to March 13, 2009. The $500 deposit will be forfeited, but no other money will be owed. Any cancellations after March 13 will result in the forfeiture of the entire cost of the camp.
