I libri ITIL sono una guida non proprietaria e dipubblico dominio, per la gestione dell’IT Service Management.
Il British Standard Institution (BSI) ha pubblicato(1998) il Code of Practice (PD0005) e lanciato la normativa BS15000 nel Novembre 2000
