iTero (Dental) Case Types

iTero (dental) digital impression scans are sent wirelessly to a core3dcentres milling centre to produce a physical polyurethane model using CAM. The selected laboratory can be set up, if required, to export the 3D CAD file as an STL prior to the models arriving. The laboratory can then choose to work from the model, the digital file or a combination of both.

Please note: The iTero software is not suitable for Invisalign scans. The optional iOC orthodontic software is required. Please contact us for purchase details.

iOC Case Types

iOC digital impression scans, via OrthoCAD, allow a doctor to store, retrieve and communicate orthodontic cases electronically, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, from any location. The iOC software is designed to be used for digital record keeping and submission of Invisalign digital impressions. Invisalign scans are sent wirelessly to your Invisalign Doctor Site (IDS) within minutes and a ClinCheck can be returned within 72 hours. All iOC digital files can be exported or saved in STL format.
