Data Center Services

In general, server room equipment can be expected to be fragile and expensive. ITE specializes in relocation of all types of server equipment, racks and UPS’s.

ITE teams are highly skilled and experienced. On-site supervision is always applied for dangerous or difficult deliveries.

Fleet

ITE operates our impeccable vehicle fleet, all recent models. Our trucks are fitted with air-suspension and hydraulic tail lifts.

All vehicles are fitted with satellite tracking devices constantly monitored from our head office based Control Center. This gives us the ability to keep constant track of any delivery in real time.

RiggingThe ITE rigging team is skilled and equipped to remove and place equipment in virtually any kind of environment.

We can hoist heavy populated server racks in and out of basements or out the side of your building, should there be no other access routes.

We use all the necessary lifting equipment like Mobile Cranes, Three Stage Forklifts, specialized Chain Blocks and Slings to ensure smooth and easy movement of sensitive, heavy equipment.

Medical EquipmentTrue to our motto of ‘IF IT IS HEAVY, FRAGILE OR EXPENSIVE WE MOVE IT” ITE is very involved in the transportation and relocation of medical equipment.

We handle anything from small blood dialysis machines to large cat scanners, x-ray machines and microscopes costing millions of Rand.

SafesDelivery of safes to easy accessible sites is no real challenge. It does however become seriously important to place a high emphasis on safety and professionalism when heavy safes need to be delivered to dangerous sites.

We classify a “dangerous site” as any site that requires the use of lifting equipment bigger than Pallet Jacks.

ITE is specialists in installing safes into difficult locations anywhere in buildings. We have highly skilled and experienced operators who plan and oversee these deliveries.

TelecomsTelecoms refer to specialized telecommunications equipment handled by ITE. This will typically be server room related equipment that is, in most cases, tall racks with switch gear and connection points. It can also include specialized telecommunication equipment used in cellphone tower control containers or, for that matter, any other specialized equipment.

2. ITE COMPUTERS SERVICESData Destruction

When back-up tapes and hard drives need to be destroyed we offer various destruction methods determined by the quantity of items and severity level of destruction required.

Hardware Destruction ITE issues a Hardware Destruction Certificates on request when physical destruction of equipment is required.

RecyclingRedundant IT equipment earmarked for scrapping is disposed of to strict ISO 14001 standards. ITE issues a disposal certificate on request.

Sanitization When hard drives need to be re-deployed ITE make use of data destructive software to overwrite and cleanup drives individually in our sanitization center.

Re- Marketing We have a large customer base and offer you the service in selling your redundant equipment to authorized buyers in the open market.

Asset Verification Services

We assist in asset verification and will provide personnel and equipment to capture serial numbers and barcodes to match your asset registry

Outright PurchaseWe buy all types of redundant IT equipment and will send personnel to your premises to assess your equipment and make you an official offer to purchase.

Desktop RelocationITE offers a desktop relocation service of ICT (Information Communication Technology) equipment, typically PC monitors and cases, keyboards and phones. , From one desk to another within or to your new premises. This service involves:

Disconnection, Packing, Relocation, Cleaning and Reconnection with highly trained staff.

Packaging & CratingITE craftsmen are able to design and construct customized packing cases in our onsite packing facility. We offer a broad range of solutions and methods focusing on the protection and safety of the entrusted objects. We can provide case

specifications ranging from economical to the highest standards.  All materials used comply with current international museums standards.

Transport & ShippingITE provides specialist handling and shipping services for international clients. Cost-effective part loads throughout Europe, sea and airfreight and airside supervision for the loading and unloading of aircraft carrying cultural and high value consignments in our care. Each aspect will be handled by highly trained and knowledgeable staff from our offices end destinations.

Our fleet of vehicles, equipped with air ride suspension and tail lifts are fully alarmed, also fitted with, satellite tracking. We provide regular road transport services throughout South Africa every week.

Customs ProceduresAll goods entering or departing South Africa require customs clearing. As an accredited customs clearing agent we are able to provide a swift customs clearing service at competitive rates. With our online computer system linked via EDI to Customs our team is fully geared to take care of all customs procedures as required.

This business unit is responsible for processing & negotiating Corporate Solutions on all levels, incorporating the various ITE Business Unit activities.
