"Foremost among the projects are an EUR18.5-million(~$20.1 million) plan to rebuild the floor of Rome'sColosseum -- which was removed during excavationstoward the end of the 19th century -- so that the ancientamphitheater might be used for reenactments of Romanspectacles and other events, and EUR18 million (~$19.6million) for the so-called "Great Uffizi" project to renovateand expand the most-visited art museum in Italy."
