    NOTICE BOARD

    Notice board was re-opened on 2nd Sep 2011 by Fr. Paul T.J. . Our Motto is to

    explore the creativity of our students and to enhance the knowledge of studentsand to aware about various career opportunity and current affair.

    On the basis of our IT Club motto we divided our notice board into various corners.

    Notice Board is being updated by the IT Club students with the support of Co-

    ordinators. For these we have divided the students on the basis of classes and

    classes are divided into sub groups. And each group is responsible to update the

    notice board in alternate days. So that each and every member of IT Club isactively participating in updation of notice board.

    REOPENING CEREMONY OF IT CLUB

    In this innovative and inevitable technological world everyone is needed to cope

    with the fast growing world

    As we the members of Christ family, to bring forward the talents of each individual

    student and over all development of student we have formed different clubs. And

    for this purpose our Principal Fr. Paul T.J. introduced different clubs for different

    streams and gave us the golden opportunity to introduce our club. These clubs

    came into existence three years before. But as we know that every year we lose

    some members of the college and we are introduced with some new members of the

    college, i.e., every year there is a change in the members of all the clubs. So to makethe new members aware of the new atmosphere of the college we have a tradition

    of the REOPENING of every club every year. So that new members can be

    introduced to whole college.

    As per the tradition this year also we, the students of CS & IT Deptt. reopened our

    club IT with a successful celebration. We started our program with a Prayer Song.

    Our chief guest Fr. Paul T.J. was honored by the members of IT Club. Then there was

    Lamp Lighting Ceremony. The Lamp was lit by our chief guest and Principal Fr.

    Paul T.J., Fr Jomon (Vice-Principal), Mrs. Siji Jestus (HOD of CS & IT Deptt.) , Mr.

    Sushil Sahu, Mr. Ashim Sarkar, Mrs. Sagarika Gupta (Co-Ordinators of IT Club), Mr.

    D.Lokedra, Ms. Deepa Jain, Kausar Jahan President (IT Club) and all the members

    of IT Club.

    The inauguration of IT CLUB was held on 2nd Sep 2011. The inauguration was

    started with a prayer song then there was a lighting of lamp. Then the members of

    IT Club took Oath. After the Oath ceremony we had a presentation on shortcut &

    Tricks related to hardware problems. After that we conducted the Portrait

    competition.

    IT Club Activities

    The activities done by the IT Club are as follows:-1. Portrait Competition.2. Skit competition.3. Career Guidance-Govt. School (Bastar)4. Quick Programming in C Language.

    Portrait Competition:

    The inauguration of IT CLUB was held on 2ndSep 2011. After

    inauguration, first activity of IT CLUB was organized. The competition

    was based on Portrait making of Lord Ganesha, where many studentshad actively participated. The objective of our activity is to motivateand encourage to students to come forward and present their talent.

    The winners of this competition was-1st Sunita Sardar (B.Sc-I)

    Skit Competition:

    IT Club had Organized a skit completion on 30th

    Sep 2011 (Saturday),a skit competition in which students of different stream had actively

    participated the theme was Save Girl Child. The objective of this

    competition was to aware people about saving girl child. The

    program was successful. All the participants of this program was

    awarded by Certificates.

    The winners of this skit competition are : -

    BSC Stream

    The skit competition was judged by Miss. Swati Tikam, Rahul Patel.

    Career Guidance

    IT club continued its innovative activities in the academic session

    2011-2012. One of the important proceedings was the Career

    Guidance Activity on 19th

    November in Govt. Girls Higher

    Secondary School, Bastar.

    The club members reached the destined spot by bus. The

    program spot started by a skit on the topic- Saving the girl child.

    Then the program was proceeded by recreation means- one minute

    game i.e. lighting candles, blowing balloons, sticking without seeing

    etc

    Simultaneously, Quiz competition and musical merry-go,

    round was organized. The school students and the teacher witnessed

    the program.

    A powerpoint presentation was given on career guidance.

    The program was ended by providing prizes to the winners by the

    school Principal and vote of thanks for allowing us to providing an

    auspicious opportunity to organize and develop the co-curricular

    activities among IT-Club members and the students of Bastar school.

    Overall, the whole program was entertaining and

    informative.

    Quick Programming in C Language

    IT Club had an intellectually tuned quick programming competitions

    an 3

    Dec 2011. It was an Inter-college competition where threecolleges had participated. The formal representation witnessed these

    college, i.e. our Christ College, Surya College, and PG. College.

    There were many students participated in this competition.

    Topic was : Quick Programming on C.

    Judges : The programming comprised of only one question was

    logical based and was again. Subdivided. The time limit for solvingthe program was 30 min.

    Future Plan

    To promote Computer Education.To Conduct Seminars.To organize exhibition of project from different Computer

    Education Institute.

    To organize Social Work.

    Conclusion

    It club has completed 4 years of journey. As we are trying

    to fulfill our objective to make Bastar a prominent part

    of our nation and the IT World, we are planning to

    conduct Seminars, Exhibition for promoting Computer

    Education and Social Works to improve the status of the

    Society.
