ISTA  Senior  Science  Quiz  Final  2014    Congratulations  and  well  done  to  all  who  participated  in  the  National  Finals  of  the  annual  ISTA  Senior  Science  Quiz  held  in  Trinity  College  on  Saturday  22nd  November.  A  special  thank  you  to  the  Dublin  Branch  of  ISTA,  who  hosted  the  Final  and  Aoibhinn  Ní  Shúilleabháin,  who  was  a  super  quizmaster.  There  were  48  teams  in  the  Edmund  Burke  and  an  enjoyable  time  was  had  by  all.    

1st:  St  Andrew’s  College,  Booterstown,  Blackrock,  Co  Dublin  with  teacher  Ms  Hilary  Rimbi,  Aoibhinn  Ní  Shúilleabháin  (quizmaster)  and  Mary  Mullaghy  (ISTA)  

2nd:  Ard  Scoil  Ris,  North  Circular  Road,  Limerick  with  teacher  Ms  Diane  Condon.  

 3rd:  Christian  Brothers  School,  Kilkenny  –  teacher  Mr  Michael  Stack.  

 

 4th:  St  Gerard’s  College,  Bray  –  teacher  Ms  Niamh  Aylmer.  

 5th:  Blackrock  College,  Blackrock  College,  Co  Dublin  –  teacher  Mr  Gerry  Aylward.
